Bred By The Mafia Monster

Breeding Season 7

Co-written with Stacey Espino

Klaus Accardi doesn’t complain when his father arranges his marriage—he always does what’s necessary for the family. As the eldest son, he welcomes the opportunity to breed his young bride to keep his legacy alive. He’s not looking for love … until he meets Isabella.

Isabella Lastra has been promised to the enemy. She’s expected to marry the mafia monster to keep peace between their families—only he’s nothing like she expects. Klaus demands her body, but he also wants to claim her heart.

When a contract is signed for Klaus’s life, the feud between their families reignites once again. Can he keep his blushing bride safe in the middle of a mafia war or is their unorthodox marriage destined to failure?

“This will benefit everyone. No more bloodshed. Just peace between our families.”

Klaus Accardi listened to the leader of the Lastra family offer up his peace offering. It didn’t come as a surprise. The latest war had cost them on each side. The streets had run red with blood, all in the name of honor. Lastra didn’t have much else to give. They had money, businesses, but this war, it was killing them.

“You know the only way to guarantee peace is through marriage,” his father, Marcel, said.

Klaus remained tense.

He knew exactly where this was leading. Rather than look toward his younger brothers, he stayed perfectly still.

He would do what was necessary for his family.

“I have a young daughter, Isabella.”

“We’re many things, Lastra, but pedophiles isn’t one of them,” Marcel said.

“She’s eighteen and has already finished school. She’s a beauty … in her way.” The old man ran a hand down his face.

“Then let’s meet her,” Marcel said.

Lastra nodded to his guard and the man left the room. “I’m sure we can come to a peaceful arrangement.”

“What I want to know is what’s wrong with your daughter that you haven’t arranged her marriage yet. Eighteen in your culture is old, isn’t it?” Marcel asked, mocking their enemy.

“Don’t believe every rumor you hear.”

“So your wife wasn’t sixteen when you married?”

Klaus wasn’t interested in taunting this man. He wasn’t scared. The Lastra family were a bunch of pussies.

Silence filled the room.

The anger flowed off Lastra. He could feel it, but no one cared what the old man wanted.

“What is keeping that girl?” He stood up as the door opened, and there stood Isabella Lastra.

Klaus didn’t know what he was expecting. A delicate woman in a tight short dress, heavily made up, just waiting to be pawned off. No, instead, flour dusted one cheek, the jeans and shirt she wore hung off her body, they were that big. Her raven hair was bound on top of her head in a loose knot. She looked fucking stunning, no doubt about it, and there was no mistaking the fire behind her gray eyes. Her lips were pressed together in a thin line, clearly annoyed with being pulled away. Still, Isabella must be well trained as she kept her thoughts to herself. Her hands were tightly clenched though, another telltale sign given away.

To some men, she would appear completely undesirable.

He wasn’t most men.

He liked a challenge, and she posed a most beautiful one.

At thirty-eight years old, he’d experienced his fair share of women, and yet, no one had ever set his blood ablaze as fast as this peach had. His cock hardened at the thought. Most of their men liked meek women, afraid of their own shadow. Not him. No. He knew he would never be able to stay married to a woman who jumped at every move he made. They were even frightened to be kissed. Years of being forced to remain a virgin, listening to horror stories, no wonder the women freaked out.

It was fucking insane.

Raking his gaze down Isabella’s body, he saw she wasn’t a slender woman. Even with the oversized clothes, her curves beckoned him. There was no denying the roundness of her hips, the fullness of her tits. He’d love to check out her ass, but that would be rude. He didn’t want to show the instant hit of desire he had for her either.

Lastra stood up and moved toward his daughter. “Sweetheart, I’d like you to meet Marcel and Klaus Accardi.”

His brothers didn’t get a single mention.

“Well, Marcel?” Lastra asked.

Klaus looked at his father. He didn’t appear too eager, but he knew what was expected of him.

“Yes, I think we can come to some arrangement.”

“Isabella, I’d like you to meet your fiancé,” said her father.

Klaus stayed perfectly still.

“Go and introduce yourself.”

She tensed up as her father nudged her in his general direction. It wasn’t lost on anyone in the room that Lastra would send his daughter across the enemy lines toward them. Isabella didn’t stop though. She went to him and held out her hand. Well trained like most young women in their fucked-up culture.

“It’s a pleasure to meet you.” She was the perfect specimen of gentleness, but he saw her hand shake.

Compared to him, she was so small, delicate.

He gripped her hand, swallowing hers up in his, and offered her a smile. “Likewise.”

“Excellent. Isabella, run along. Tell your mama we need her for the necessary arrangements.”

Isabella turned her back on him and walked away.

Damn, he was right. A nice, lush ass. He couldn’t wait to have her naked and beneath him. Her body was made for fucking, and if truth be told, made for breeding. Since Klaus had turned thirty-eight, his father had been nagging him to settle down and produce an heir. With Isabella, he could deal with multiple problems all at once. Rather than be horrified at the thought of being married to her, excitement flooded him.

He wanted to marry her. To have her in his bed, once and for all.

She’s My Everything

He’s a jock.

She’s a nerd.

Laylah doesn’t know what to think when Blue acts strange, even asking her out on a date. There’s no way it can work. Where Blue is many of her firsts: first kiss, first date, first boyfriend—she isn’t any of his. His reputation puts her off.

Blue Jones is in completely, head-over-heels in love with Laylah Miller. They’ve been going to the same school, but after one look at her, everything changes. He has to have her. She’s the first woman he’s ever fallen for, and he doesn’t want to go another day without staking his claim.

“Wait a minute, that was your first kiss?” he asked, finally following her into the kitchen. He couldn’t believe it. There was no way that was her first kiss.

She opened the fridge, grabbing a bottle of water. “Not all of us have a reputation for screwing the entire cheerleading squad.”

“Look, I will never touch any of them, ever again,” he said, putting his hand flat on the counter. “I was your first kiss.”

“The more you keep asking, the bigger the embarrassment, Blue. I don’t want to talk about this.” She unscrewed the bottle and took a large gulp.

He liked being her first. “Does that mean you’re a virgin?”

She spat out her water, quickly covering her mouth as she choked on some. “You can’t just randomly ask a girl that.”

“Why not? It’s a perfectly valid question.”

“It’s an unfair one.”

“Well, are you?”

“It’s none of your business.”

He wasn’t getting anywhere with her. “You know I’m not a virgin.”

“I know you’ve shacked up with half of the town.”

“Not half of them. Come on, tell me.”

She stared at him and finally shook her head. “Yes, fine. I’m a virgin, Blue. Most of my eighteen years have been spent hanging out with my friends, studying, and reading books. I’ve never had a boyfriend and kissing random strangers isn’t on my list of things to do before I grow up. You’re my first kiss, and the reason I slapped you was because…”

He waited.

Her answer seemed to stretch on.

“Even though I thought it was pretty great, I didn’t want my kiss to be in front of a bunch of our friends who will do nothing but point and gossip about it. I wanted my first to be … I don’t know, different.”

He closed the distance between them, which he seemed to be doing a great deal with her just lately. All he wanted was to be near her in any way that he could.

Cupping her face, he tilted her head back, pleased she didn’t try to fight him.

“Blue, you don’t have to do this.”

“I took your first kiss and I didn’t know it was your first time, otherwise, I would’ve done all of this differently. When it comes to you, I want everything to be perfect. You’re special, Laylah. You always will be. I’m sorry I messed it up, but allow me to make it all better now.”

Her plump lips called to him, and as she released a gasp, he took possession of her lips, righting the wrong from earlier. When she remembered her first kiss with him, this would be the one she recalled with excitement.

The same kiss she’d one day tell their grandchildren about.

Baby for Two

Curvy women Wanted 27

When two strangers meet outside a fertility clinic, sparks fly. Jared has always wanted to be a father, but the right woman has never come around.

Meredith has always been used to disappointment. A baby is something she can’t make alone, so going to the clinic is her only choice. The moment Jared sees her, he wants her, giving her an alternative option.

He wants this baby the natural way, so she’s going to have to sleep with him. And he wants to be part of his baby’s life. Meredith is willing to do whatever it takes, but she doesn’t expect to fall in love. But Jared isn’t the cold, heartless man she expected, and he makes her glow.

When his family tries to tear them apart, Jared vows to keep Meredith in his life. She’s the family he wants, and no one is getting in the way.

“You can’t mean that.” She licked her lips.

He’d noticed she did that a lot when she was nervous.

Closing the distance between them, he stood toe-to-toe with her. Her head tilted back, and he stared into her eyes. Reaching out, he took her hand. Without any warning, he placed it on his already stiff cock. Rather than hide what she did to him, he was going to be open and honest with her. “You see, that is what you do to me, Meredith. This has nothing to do with the baby, but all about me and you. I want to see you get naked. I want to fuck your brains out and to know what your cunt feels like on my dick. I bet you get nice and wet.”

“I’m not good, Jared. I’m awful in bed.”

“Not fucking possible.” He cupped her face, slammed his lips down on hers, and kissed her hard. He didn’t let up, didn’t stop. Just took what he wanted, and the truth was, it was never going to be enough, not when it came to this woman. She made him ache, and it had only been a week. These feelings were all new where it came to Meredith. He’d never lived like a monk, but those other women didn’t compare to his woman.

His woman.

He relished the title.

Meredith, as far as he was concerned, was his. Every single part of her belonged to him. He was going to keep her and be completely selfish with her. No one else deserved her sweetness, only him.

When he slid his tongue across her lips, she let out a gasp and opened up to him, just how he liked it. Plunging his tongue inside, he met hers, tasting her, pressing his cock against her body. He ran a hand down her back, going to her ass and cupping the sweet flesh. The moment she moaned, he caressed up her body, aiming toward her tits. They were ripe, full, and his mouth watered for a taste of her.

The shirt she wore had way too many buttons. Gripping the edges, he tore it open and then pushed it down her arms. Beneath lay a crop top. He broke the kiss long enough to get it off her body and over her head. After tossing it to the floor, he held on to her hip, kissing her some more.

She moaned his name as he trailed his lips down her neck, sucking on her pulse.

Her tits beckoned him. He reached for the catch at the back of her bra and easily opened it. Her large, ripe tits sprang free and ready for attention.

Without waiting, he took a nipple into his mouth, flicking his tongue back and forth, hearing her moan and gasp as he did. He moved to the next bud, lavishing attention as he circled the button of her jeans.

He worked them down with ease as Meredith finally sank her fingers into his hair.

“Jared, please?”

The Bikers Plaything

Straight to Hell MC

Co-written With Stacey Espino

One thing I won’t tolerate is a rat. When anyone on my payroll screws me over, I enjoy making an example of them. It was no different when I caught my accountant selling club secrets to my enemies—I made him suffer.

The rat had a daughter, and it was only fitting to wipe out the bastard’s bloodline. When I had Ally Prixman at my mercy, things didn’t go according to plan. There was something captivating about the curvy blonde, and I couldn’t pull the trigger. Instead, I offered to keep her as a plaything. She’d fulfill all my sexual fantasies until I bored of her, then she could have her freedom. Ally had no choice but to agree. And I didn’t expect to keep her for long.

He killed my estranged father and wanted me dead. For some reason he decided to have mercy on me, although I’m not so sure being Lord’s sex toy is much better than death. He’s the leader of the Straight to Hell MC and known for his brutality. Surely he won’t have mercy on me for being a virgin.

I’m mad at myself for not hating my situation more, but I’m impossibly attracted to Lord. His scars and tattoos don’t scare me, and it doesn’t take long for me to fall for the biker. I have to remind myself I’m only a temporary part of the club. Lord’s only using me up until he spits me out. Some men just aren’t capable of love.

Bobby’s old farm appeared ahead, and Lord slowed down his bike before turning onto the unpaved drive. The other bikes settled around him, cutting their engines on cue.

“She alive?” asked Reaper.

“Don’t worry about it. She won’t be for long.” Lord headed toward the house, but Bobby Joe Ranger came stumbling off the porch, pulling on a plaid shirt as he neared.

“Good morning,” said Bobby.

Lord nodded toward the cruiser.

“Oh. Yeah, she’s just where you told me to leave her.”

It had been a frigid night. Maybe the girl was already dead.

The cop walked along a beaten path, his keys jangling in one hand. He unlocked the trunk and flung it up, a huge smile on his face. “It was so damn easy. I picked her up as soon as she left work last night.”

His VP stepped forward first, glancing into the open trunk. There was no sound, no movement.

“Boss, how old you say this chick was supposed to be?”

He narrowed his eyes, looking over at Brick. “Why?”

“She looks young.”

Richard Prixman had been older or at least he had some fucking city miles on him. Lord expected a woman in her thirties, but when he joined Brick at the open trunk, those big green eyes staring at him were pure innocence.

He looked over at the cop. “How old is she?”

The cop handed him her license. “Just turned nineteen. Works at a local bar. No record. No location on the mother.”

Lord looked at the license, then back at the girl. “Get her out of there.”

Brick and Stump unceremoniously dragged her out, dropping her down on the dirt by his feet.

“She’s a big bitch. It wasn’t easy getting her in there by myself,” said Bobby.

Lord froze in place, staring at the cop, suddenly feeling the overwhelming urge to punch the smug look off his face.

He returned to the present, squeezing and releasing his fist to calm himself down. Stump stood next to the girl, a questioning look on his face.

This was the day he’d been waiting for, so why did it feel all wrong?

Lord walked over to his men and the girl sitting on the dirt, the sound of each booted foot distinct in the early morning hush. He crouched down, his leather jacket creaking as he leaned over his knees. He reached out one arm, using a curled finger to tilt her face toward him.

“What’s your name?”

“I told you it’s her, Lord. There’s no mistaking it,” said the cop.

Lord whirled his head to the side. “Did I fucking ask you a question? Keep your mouth shut if you know what’s good for you.”

He returned his attention to the blonde.

“What’s your name?”

She swallowed hard. “Ally.”

“Ally what?”

“Ally Prixman.”

He nodded. “Then you’re exactly the girl we’ve been looking for. Do you know why you’re here?”

She shook her head. “I’m guessing this is because of something my dad did?”

Why was he noticing the bruise forming on her temple or the way her full lower lip quivered? He usually started these interrogations with a lot less conversation and a lot more pain.

“Richard Prixman. You don’t look anything like him,” Lord said.

She shrugged. “He was a sperm donor, that’s about it.”

Lord chuckled, so did Brick.

“Well, regardless of how you two spent the holidays, he’s still your blood, and that motherfucker screwed me over.”

“What did he do this time?” she asked. “And who are you?”

He smirked, and it wasn’t the kind before he gutted a man. It was a real fucking smirk because, for some odd reason, this girl amused him.

Lord stood up, stretching out his legs. He motioned for Stump to get her to her feet.

He paced back and forth.

“Your father tried to sell me out. He abused my trust, and I don’t take that lightly.” He stopped, running one hand through his hair. “As for who I am, sweetheart, have you heard of the Straight to Hell MC?”

That Ass is Mine

Curvy Women Wanted 26

Talia Clarke has the biggest crush on her boss. He’s much older than her, an ex-biker, and owns the strip club where she works. As a virgin, she doesn’t exactly know how to approach him.

Sarge knew the moment Talia came into his bar, she’d be trouble. Her sweetness isn’t the problem. Her ass is. The moment he’s near her, he wants her. When she asks him to teach her how to fuck, he can’t deny her anything. He gets the chance to show her exactly what he likes. She’s untouched, and he doesn’t want anyone else to have what belongs to him. Talia is his, and he’ll bring every single fantasy to life to show her how good it can be between them.

But what will happen when she falls pregnant? Sarge didn’t promise her forever. Will he put his rules aside and let himself love, or will he turn his back on her and his unborn child?

Talia stayed perfectly still at his side as he drove his truck down toward his home. He never slept where he worked. After closing up the club, he’d brought his truck to take Talia home with him.

Sarge had made sure to pay Danny a visit so the man knew to keep out of his business. He had no right telling Talia what he wanted, and next time, he was determined not to let his feelings show.

The way he’d learned to survive all these years was to keep shit to himself, so the fact others were seeing what he wanted, he didn’t like that at all.

He lived about a twenty-minute drive from the club just on the outskirts of the city. When he bought it close to seven years ago, it had been rundown. The price had been a steal because of how much work it needed. With the money he had, he invested in his club, repaired his home, and well, the rest is history.

Turning off the ignition, he made no move to get out. “Talia, I have no intention of hurting you. I won’t be teased or taken for a ride. You tell me to stop, I stop. Got it?”

“And keep your insecurities at the door. My word is law inside that house. Understand?” he asked.

“Yes, I get it.”

He climbed out of the truck, grabbed her bag from the backseat, and made his way toward the front of the house. He kept a light on for his dog, Russ, who came to him the moment he opened the door.

“Hello, boy, how are you doing, buddy?” He knelt down, giving his dog a stroke.

The moment Russ saw Talia, he went straight to her, turning to give her access to stroke him.

“He’s my fierce guard dog,” he said.

Talia giggled, leaning down to stroke his belly. “Are you his fierce guard dog? You’re so cute. So very, very cute.” She blew kisses at him.

“All right, that’s enough. I don’t want you spoiling him. He won’t want to stay here alone.” He snapped his fingers and Russ got up, heading toward one of his many bed areas. Sarge had always been a sucker for a dog. Russ had been a stray he’d taken in, gotten him checked over by the vet, and finally adopted.

Dropping Talia’s bag in the sitting room, he turned to look at her. Her gaze moved around the room, clearly taking everything in. He smiled. Her attempt to seduce him was cute. Danny had tried to reassure him that the reason he spoke out of turn was that he noticed how they looked at one another. Well, with Talia wanting him to teach her about sex, he was more than happy to oblige, but she was only going to know how he liked it.

“Strip,” he said.

“Excuse me?”

“You heard me. Take off all your clothes. I want you completely naked.”

The Beast’s Nanny

The Nannies 7

When Grace pays for a customer’s breakfast, she assumes she’s just doing a favor for a miserable man. But he repays her by kidnapping her. Before he took her, she was living a normal life, worrying about bills and money. Now she’s a nanny for his nephew, the cutest little boy she’s ever met.

Caleb Raine is a beast, having built his reputation from the ground up. All he knows is betrayal and pain. On one of the hardest days of his life, Grace is a beacon of light. He wants her, and he’s used to getting what he wants.

She’s everything he’s not used to—a woman who cares, who loves. When he offers her an ultimatum, he expects her to reject it. For a year, she’ll be his personal fuck toy in exchange for her freedom. He doesn’t expect to crave her or need her.

Taking her is easy. Keeping her is even easier. Falling in love with her, though, that’s not part of the plan.

“I figured you’d have gone to bed by now,” Caleb said, entering the library.

“Yeah, well, I wanted to ask you something.”

“You can order whatever you like. I won’t have all my men at the table, but you, me, and James can have a small dinner.”

“Oh, how did you know?”

“I know everything, Grace. This is my house.” He poured himself a shot and turned toward her, offering her some.

She shook her head. “I don’t drink.”

“You don’t drink, nor do you party, or fuck random men. What do you do for fun?”

She glared at him. “There are plenty of ways to have fun. You don’t have to be drunk to have a good time.”

“In my experience, the best kind of time always holds a little alcohol.” He swallowed it down in one gulp.

“Is that because it lowers your inhibitions?” she asked.

“Not me. I’m always in control.”

“Must be nice.” She stared down at the book even though she’d lost all interest in reading right now. “Can I take James shopping for groceries?”

“No. Everything will be delivered to you. Just give me a list of what you need and I’ll make sure it comes to you.”

“Yes. I won’t negotiate on this.”

At his mention of negotiating, she wondered if he wanted an answer to his ultimatum. She looked down at her book, then back up at him before returning to her book. It was far more fascinating with pretty pictures.

“Grace, just tell me what is on your mind,” he said.

“Is this about what I said in the pantry? You’d like to know how far I’d go?” he asked.

“This has nothing…” She pressed her lips together. She wouldn’t be brought down with lying. Taking a deep breath, she returned to her book. This was by far more fascinating.

“I’m curious about your answer,” he said.

“How do you even know what I’m thinking?”

“The blush. Any time I mention sex, you get this red tinge to your cheeks. You’re embarrassed and you try to hide it. It’s cute.”

She frowned at him. “Why are you so different from the man who came and rescued me?”

He tilted his head to the side and looked at her. “Maybe you inspire me.”

She rolled her eyes. “I’m not an idiot, Caleb. I know you must have millions of women.”

“You know I do.”

She slammed the book closed. “I need to go to bed.”

“Is it so hard to be around me?” he asked.

She spun back to face him. “I’m here against my will. Have you forgotten that?”

“I don’t forget anything, baby. You better believe that.” He winked at her. “I’m used to getting what I want.”

“I don’t have to deal with this.” She stepped to the door.

“I know you want me, Grace. I’m not going to push you. If you think the time you take to make a decision will mean a shorter time in my bed, you’re very much mistaken.” He got to his feet and walked toward her.

She pressed her back against the door, watching him. His hand came out to rest near her head. “The clock on your freedom starts the moment you agree, not a second before. So take as long as you want. I’ve got a lot of spare time.”

“Why won’t you let me go?”

He sighed. “Have you ever wanted something so badly you’re willing to do whatever it takes to claim it?”

She nodded her head. There had been a bike she wanted when she was young and her parents had given her a whole list of jobs to do before they would even consider getting it for her. It didn’t seem like that big of a deal to most, but to her, it had meant the world. Christmas Day, she’d gotten that bike and spent the entire day riding up and down the street, even in the snow. It had taken her a few years to grow out of that bike, but her parents had made sure she had another to replace it.

Driving a car had never appealed, not when it came to riding her bike. Even now, she didn’t want to learn to drive.

“Well, when I look at you, Grace, I know I want a part of your sweetness all to myself. I want to dirty you up a bit to know you’re not so perfect.” He put his hand flat on her chest.

She took deep breaths. Her pussy went slick with need. Even her nipples tightened. She wasn’t an innocent to desire or sex. She hadn’t avoided it.

Licking her lips, she tried to tell him to stop, but she didn’t want to.

“And, Grace, I want you. I want to see you lose control. To beg for my cock in your pussy, mouth, or ass.”

She gasped.

“And when I do, I’m going to claim every single part of you.” He cupped her face, running his thumb across her lips. “I’m going to see my cum decorating your lips and watch as you lick me right off.”

He moved in close.

His lips a mere whisper against hers.

Monsters’ Gift

Crude Hill High 2

This is the concluding part of Emily, Gael, Vadik, River, and Caleb’s duet. Crude Hill High will continue in other books.

If one goes down, we all go down. Instead of being killed, though, I’m sent to England with my best friend. Gael, Vadik, River, and Caleb have made a deal I can’t change. They awakened me and now I’m nothing.

One moment, I’m in England, the next, I’m back at Crude Hill, in my Monsters’ house, at their mercy. They’ve traded my friend for me, but they’ve trusted the wrong people. My men aren’t boys anymore, but Monsters who know how to torture. The threat to my life should’ve been over, but their own mistakes are about to surface.

I’m their only weakness and it’s a race against time to find their enemies first. There are four of them and one of me. It should be easy. But it’s been a long time since I’ve fought for my life. Only now, I’ve got to fight for a future I once thought was dead.

Be Warned: voyeurism, anal sex, reverse harem/multiple partners

“My mom may have been a cheater. I’m not one of them.” Ashley sat back, her face pale.

“I’m sorry,” I said. “I didn’t mean to … insinuate.”

“It’s fine.”

“It’s not. This is all my fault.” I felt bad now. I tried to never bring her mother up as it was full of bad memories. Her mother was a cheater, not that my father was any better. I reached across the table, taking her hands in mine. “I’m really sorry.”

Ashley pulled away. “I need to get to work.” She stood up and I watched her gather her bag.

“Ash, please, don’t leave like this.”

“I’m fine. I can forget for the most part, you know. She uprooted us, and I was more than happy to go along. I knew her man was married, and if it hadn’t been for that, I wouldn’t have met you.”

“I’m really sorry.”

“Doesn’t change the fact she’s dead. That they killed her.” Her eyes glistened with tears. “I’ll see you tomorrow.”

I didn’t get a chance to stop her. She moved too fast, but I also knew she wanted to be alone, and I couldn’t change that, nor could I blame her. Her only crime was having a mother who fell in love with my dad, who was a greedy bastard. The only saving grace we had was the fact he was dead as well. It didn’t stop her from missing her mom. I hated this. There was absolutely nothing I could do. No way to console her.

Running my fingers through my hair, I got to my feet and paid for our coffees. There was no point in sticking around.

As I left the café, I glanced back, sure I’d seen someone I recognized. When I glanced over the tables, no one I knew was there. None of it made any sense to me. The feeling of being watched was still strong.

Rather than linger, I left, but I didn’t go to work. I called the supermarket, claiming to be sick. Lying was second nature to me. With the unsettled feeling that rushed over me, I headed straight to my and Ashley’s apartment. No one stopped me on my way, but I found myself stopping to look for anyone who could possibly be following me. It made no sense. Why would anyone wish to follow me? I was no one now, as Amelia.

I thought about Earl Valentine. I hadn’t felt this way in a long time. My heart raced and I wished I had my knife with me. It had been a long time since I thought about having my knife. I thought back to the one River had taken. He’d never given it back to me after I killed that MC guy, stabbing him right through the neck. It felt like that had happened to someone else, not to me.

The way I felt was Earl’s fault. If he hadn’t turned up, I wouldn’t be nervous or panicking. I’d be in control of all of my emotions, instead of being pissed off. While I rushed toward my apartment building, I stopped for the hundredth time and glanced out across the street. People were going about their business, completely oblivious to my craziness. Why would they even have to think about my life, or what I was going through? They had their own lives.

There was no one there. No one who stood out. I hated this feeling so fucking much.

Finally, I headed into my building, but I didn’t take the elevator. I went for the stairs, running up them.

No one intercepted me.

As I grabbed my keys and went for my door, my hand shook. I didn’t like how afraid I was. Gritting my teeth, I let myself inside my apartment, slamming the door closed and resting my palms against the wood.

My heart raced.

Someone was inside.

I knew they were.

My hands were hidden behind my body and I grabbed the keys, sliding one between my knuckles, ready to cause trouble.

I counted to ten inside my head, and then I turned, raising my hand, ready to take out whoever was in my place. They would regret coming here.

My wrist was caught and I cried out at the sudden pain, but I was pressed against the door, my hand lifted up. Then I was staring into a pair of blue eyes. I recognized them instantly. Gael Parson, in the flesh, had me trapped and as I stared at him, I was amazed. He was the same old Gael, and yet, he wasn’t. He was darker, scarier. The part of him that always seemed to be joking, gone. No smile. No nothing.

Neither of us spoke.

I panted and he just stared. I released my keys and it seemed to shake him. In the next second, I threw my arms around him, taking possession of his lips.

Deep down, I knew I should be pissed at him, and I was. But I wasn’t going to waste a moment. One of his hands sank into my hair as the other went to my ass. We both moaned as he pushed me back. This time, we missed the door and went straight for the wall. He broke off the kiss, sliding his lips down my neck to my pulse, and I moaned, wanting more.

Shoving against him, I pulled my bag over my head and let it go. It landed on the floor with a clatter, but I didn’t care.

Next, I was back on him, and he lifted me as I wrapped my legs around his waist.

I wanted him so badly.

Gael and I, we never got to do this. I should be angry at him, telling him to fuck off, but with his hands wrapped around me, all I wanted was to feel him everywhere. We didn’t get this chance before they pushed me away. I needed this.

My body craved his touch more than I wanted to push him away.

It was wrong. I knew that.

Afterward, I’d be pissed. I’d send him back to hell, but for now, I was going to be selfish and have this moment all to myself.

Gripping the edge of his shirt, I tore it open.

Buttons went flying in either direction. I caught sight of all of his ink, the old mixed with the new, but I didn’t care.

We moved to my sofa and he dropped me down.

It was a battle of wills, getting each other naked. I didn’t know exactly who won as we both ended up without our clothes, and that was more than fine with me. Our clothes were on the floor all around us and I stared at him, waiting.

“Fuck, I forgot how beautiful you are.”

I didn’t hide. I held myself still, watching him, waiting. He just kept looking at me and I liked it.

I hadn’t been with anyone else, nor had I dated. I didn’t want anyone else but him, along with his three other friends. I didn’t care if it was conventional. They hadn’t left me alone. They all promised me forever, and instead, I had a mere taste of what it meant to be owned by the Monsters’ Crew before they discarded me.
