The Bikers Forbidden Affair

Straight to Hell MC 3

Blurb

Tank’s bigger and badder than most of the bikers at the Straight to Hell MC. He’s used to being feared by everyone—then there’s Bell. The curvy blonde waitress doesn’t move out of his way. For some reason, she sees the best in him, never judging him for his past or present. Her sweet love and innocence become addicting. It’s nice not being the monster for once. But she has a tangled past that his prez doesn’t like. Tank’s faced with an impossible choice—love or his club.

Bell doesn’t want to end up with a loser like her deadbeat mother. She wants to make something out of her life, even though it’s easier said than done. Tank’s a big teddy bear and doesn’t even realize it. He’s caring and protective and even though she shouldn’t fall for a bad boy, it’s impossible to keep away from him. The only problem is her boyfriend is keeping her a secret, and secrets are never a good thing. Will he decide to put her first or will their love stay a forbidden affair?

Excerpt:

Holding on to Tank’s shoulder, she swung her leg over the side of the bike. At the same time, her heart raced, and she tried to tell herself she was doing the right thing. In the back of her mind, her grandmother was berating her. Telling her she was being naughty, and that if she’d used her brain back in high school, she wouldn’t be in this mess.

She had used her brain in high school. She’d gotten good grades, but affording college, that had been a laugh. Working one job after another, that had been her life long before she was eighteen.

“Hold on to me,” Tank said.

She wrapped her arms around his waist and pressed her face against his back. “Like this?”

“Yes, like that.”

His back seemed to rumble as he spoke, and she closed her eyes, loving the feel of him in her arms. Even his smell was a unique mix of rich cologne and leather.

This was her boyfriend.

She’d never had a boyfriend before, and Tank was quite something. She was absolutely giddy. Even with the diner being busy, she’d been thinking about him constantly. It was hard to keep the news quiet that she was finally dating this big hunk of a guy.

He turned over the engine, and the machine purred to life. She tensed up and he chuckled.

“I’ve got you.”

“Oh, God, this is insane,” she said. “I’ll never get used to it.”

“Trust me.”

“I do.” She snuggled against him, breathing in his scent.

Tank always smelled good.

Bell squeezed her eyes closed as they started to move and tried to convince her racing heart that everything was going to be okay.

“Are you alive back there?” he asked.

“Yeah, I’m fine. I’m holding on.”

“Bell, open your eyes.”

This made her actually do it. “How did you know?”

“I know you.”

She felt warm inside just hearing that.

Tank took his time. He didn’t rush. He held the bike firmly, and they traveled in a smooth line, heading back to her apartment. Her feet were thanking him.

With each minute that passed and they hadn’t died or injured themselves, she was grateful to him. She had no doubt he could go a lot faster, but she was pleased he’d taken his time with her, considering her feelings.

By the time they arrived at her place, it was late.

Tank held her steady as she climbed off. Her legs did feel a little weak, which he promised was normal. She didn’t think it was normal, but any excuse to have this man touching her, she had no problem with.

They walked hand in hand toward her apartment building. Taking the stairs, they walked toward her door, and Bell tried not to be too embarrassed by the state of her building. This was all she could afford. Knowing Tank had paid for her rent made her a little more aware of what she didn’t have in comparison to him.

At her doorway, she smiled at him, feeling very aware of their proximity.

“Do you want to come in for coffee?” she asked.

“Yeah, I’ll come in for coffee.”

Her heart began to race, heat growing between her legs. She couldn’t keep the happiness out of her voice.

The Biker’s Dirty Little Secret

How can something so wrong feel so good?

Callie tries to look at the positive side of life—despite her dire circumstances. She’s the underdog, stepped on by her boss, her landlord, and her own family. When a new customer shows interest in her at work, it’s impossible to resist his charm. Their budding romance becomes her only joy in life, but when she finds out he’s keeping dark secrets, Callie wonders if she really knows him at all.

Brick knows he screwed up by hiding the truth from Callie. It just felt so damn good to be looked at with affection rather than fear, and he soon became addicted to the rush. Once he starts falling hard for her, he can’t bring himself to tell her he’s the VP of the Straight to Hell MC. Brick can’t risk losing her. But how long can he go on living a lie?

With a rival club rebuilding and a rat in their midst, Brick wonders if it’s even safe bringing Callie into his world at all.

Excerpt:

They’d been in church for the past hour, and Brick was itching to call Callie. Every night, they’d talk for hours, sometimes about nothing at all. She soothed him, made him feel alive for the first time in forever.

“We burned their club to the ground,” Lord said. “They’re persistent fuckers.”

“They have no senior members left,” said Brick. “We took them all out. Who the fuck do they think they are?”

“Boss, they’re a joke. Nothing to worry about,” said Reaper.

“I’m not worried, but I also don’t plan to sit back pretending they can’t become a real pain in the ass at some point.” Lord scrubbed a hand down his face. “Keep eyes and ears open. I want to know when they wipe their fucking asses. Understand?”

Everyone agreed before they started to head out. He checked his watch as he stood up.

“Brick, stay behind,” Lord said.

Fuck.

He had a feeling Lord was on to him. His intuition was legendary. Callie was Brick’s dirty little secret, a separate life away from the club. He didn’t want to tarnish her innocence with the truth of what he really was. It was safer that way, too.

“You find out anything about our rat?” asked Lord. He stayed seated, but there was something in his eyes.

Brick paced, not wanting to share his secret but also not wanting his prez to think he was betraying the club. The brothers strayed all the time, fucking anything that walked in and out of the club. There weren’t any rules that said he could only enjoy club pussy, so why was he so damn nervous?

“Still working on it,” he said.

Lord was silent. Brick wanted him to say something, accuse him, anything.

“And the Skull Nation, they’re a bunch of pussies. Say the word, and we can finish them off together, like the good old days.”

His prez only nodded. Slowly. “Keep an eye out for the rat.”

Once Brick was out of the room, he closed his eyes and took a breath. He felt like a traitor and didn’t want Lord thinking he was. Brick was one hundred percent loyal to the Straight to Hell MC and always would be. The club was his life.

Anything Lord ordered, he made it happen. He was loyal to a fault, and it helped that Brick was a brutal motherfucker with a complete lack of empathy when it came to rivals.

Once in his room, he crashed on his bed, staring at the ceiling. Was he blind? Pussy whipped? He’d berated so many brothers when it came to women, even judging Lord when he took Ally as his old lady. Women were a weakness, and Brick had always been against the whole idea of love and family.

It was time to take a step back. He rolled to his side and grabbed his cell phone. Callie Johnson had a history, and he’d be a fool to rush in blindly without knowing everything about her. The safety of the club had to come first.

He did some research on his own, then texted Copper to dig up more dirt on the down low. Copper was their in-house hacker, even known for putting the local police department in the dark for forty-eight hours a couple of years back. Within the hour, the techno whizz sent him an email with all the dirt.

Brick was scared to open it, not wanting any of this to end. He actually looked forward to waking up in the morning. Before this affair, there’d been some days he considered putting a bullet in his head.

He scrolled through the email.

Callie wasn’t so simple after all. She had a dark past and fucked-up family. The things she had talked about were all the truth—her grandmother’s death, her job, the place she lived. He couldn’t blame her for leaving out all the messy details.

If she was anything like her family, she sure hid it well. From what he’d come to know of her, she was the exact opposite, and it only made him want to shelter her even more.

He’d keep the information to himself for now. Brick knew some of the characters she was involved with and most were bad news. Sean Rigby, for one, was a notorious loan shark. Why would Callie get hooked up with that piece of shit? She needed Brick in her life to protect her. It would be so easy for a sweet girl like Callie to get soiled by the wrong people—people like him.

The next day, he rode out to the building center. They had lunch together several days a week. He was itching to get more serious with her but kept holding back. Some days he questioned everything about their unorthodox relationship.

He walked over to the picnic bench where Callie sat. Her big smile lit him up from head to toe.

“Hey, stranger.” Brick straddled the bench seat next to her.

“You didn’t call yesterday.”

He shrugged. “Had a busy night.”

She fiddled with her lunch bag, looking over her shoulder on occasion. He didn’t like the vibe he was getting from her.

“You okay?” he asked.

“It’s nothing. Just some difficult customers. My boss doesn’t like me to get involved, but at least I’ll get a longer lunch out of it.”

Difficult customers? His hackles immediately went up and visions of him gutting the pricks who took out their frustrations on his woman filled his head. He took a cleansing breath.

“You know you don’t have to take shit from customers, don’t you? It’s a job. That doesn’t give anyone the right to treat you like garbage.”

“I know it’s just a job, but it’s a job I really need. It’s okay, though. They only come around a couple of times a week.”

He gritted his teeth to keep from saying anything further.

Brick refocused, tucking some hair behind Callie’s ear. The sun picked up the color of her eyes. She was a beauty. When she leaned into his touch, his entire body reacted. He was doing exactly what he claimed he’d never do—falling for a woman. And he hadn’t even fucked her yet. He was completely out of character.

“Yo! We’re waiting to cash out.” Two men walked toward the picnic table. Callie immediately tensed up.

“Is Jeff not in the office?”

“No, nobody’s in the fucking office. Are you going to sit out here on your fat ass or do your damn job?”

Brick stood up, but Callie wrapped a hand around his wrist in an attempt to pull him back down.

“And what the fuck do you want, big boy?” asked one of the men.

Before he could speak, Callie spoke up. “Please, he’s just a chicken farmer. We don’t want any trouble.”

The Bikers Plaything

Straight to Hell MC

Co-written With Stacey Espino

Blurb

Lord:
One thing I won’t tolerate is a rat. When anyone on my payroll screws me over, I enjoy making an example of them. It was no different when I caught my accountant selling club secrets to my enemies—I made him suffer.

The rat had a daughter, and it was only fitting to wipe out the bastard’s bloodline. When I had Ally Prixman at my mercy, things didn’t go according to plan. There was something captivating about the curvy blonde, and I couldn’t pull the trigger. Instead, I offered to keep her as a plaything. She’d fulfill all my sexual fantasies until I bored of her, then she could have her freedom. Ally had no choice but to agree. And I didn’t expect to keep her for long.

Ally:
He killed my estranged father and wanted me dead. For some reason he decided to have mercy on me, although I’m not so sure being Lord’s sex toy is much better than death. He’s the leader of the Straight to Hell MC and known for his brutality. Surely he won’t have mercy on me for being a virgin.

I’m mad at myself for not hating my situation more, but I’m impossibly attracted to Lord. His scars and tattoos don’t scare me, and it doesn’t take long for me to fall for the biker. I have to remind myself I’m only a temporary part of the club. Lord’s only using me up until he spits me out. Some men just aren’t capable of love.

Excerpt:

Bobby’s old farm appeared ahead, and Lord slowed down his bike before turning onto the unpaved drive. The other bikes settled around him, cutting their engines on cue.

“She alive?” asked Reaper.

“Don’t worry about it. She won’t be for long.” Lord headed toward the house, but Bobby Joe Ranger came stumbling off the porch, pulling on a plaid shirt as he neared.

“Good morning,” said Bobby.

Lord nodded toward the cruiser.

“Oh. Yeah, she’s just where you told me to leave her.”

It had been a frigid night. Maybe the girl was already dead.

The cop walked along a beaten path, his keys jangling in one hand. He unlocked the trunk and flung it up, a huge smile on his face. “It was so damn easy. I picked her up as soon as she left work last night.”

His VP stepped forward first, glancing into the open trunk. There was no sound, no movement.

“Boss, how old you say this chick was supposed to be?”

He narrowed his eyes, looking over at Brick. “Why?”

“She looks young.”

Richard Prixman had been older or at least he had some fucking city miles on him. Lord expected a woman in her thirties, but when he joined Brick at the open trunk, those big green eyes staring at him were pure innocence.

He looked over at the cop. “How old is she?”

The cop handed him her license. “Just turned nineteen. Works at a local bar. No record. No location on the mother.”

Lord looked at the license, then back at the girl. “Get her out of there.”

Brick and Stump unceremoniously dragged her out, dropping her down on the dirt by his feet.

“She’s a big bitch. It wasn’t easy getting her in there by myself,” said Bobby.

Lord froze in place, staring at the cop, suddenly feeling the overwhelming urge to punch the smug look off his face.

“Lord?”

He returned to the present, squeezing and releasing his fist to calm himself down. Stump stood next to the girl, a questioning look on his face.

This was the day he’d been waiting for, so why did it feel all wrong?

Lord walked over to his men and the girl sitting on the dirt, the sound of each booted foot distinct in the early morning hush. He crouched down, his leather jacket creaking as he leaned over his knees. He reached out one arm, using a curled finger to tilt her face toward him.

“What’s your name?”

“I told you it’s her, Lord. There’s no mistaking it,” said the cop.

Lord whirled his head to the side. “Did I fucking ask you a question? Keep your mouth shut if you know what’s good for you.”

He returned his attention to the blonde.

“What’s your name?”

She swallowed hard. “Ally.”

“Ally what?”

“Ally Prixman.”

He nodded. “Then you’re exactly the girl we’ve been looking for. Do you know why you’re here?”

She shook her head. “I’m guessing this is because of something my dad did?”

Why was he noticing the bruise forming on her temple or the way her full lower lip quivered? He usually started these interrogations with a lot less conversation and a lot more pain.

“Richard Prixman. You don’t look anything like him,” Lord said.

She shrugged. “He was a sperm donor, that’s about it.”

Lord chuckled, so did Brick.

“Well, regardless of how you two spent the holidays, he’s still your blood, and that motherfucker screwed me over.”

“What did he do this time?” she asked. “And who are you?”

He smirked, and it wasn’t the kind before he gutted a man. It was a real fucking smirk because, for some odd reason, this girl amused him.

Lord stood up, stretching out his legs. He motioned for Stump to get her to her feet.

He paced back and forth.

“Your father tried to sell me out. He abused my trust, and I don’t take that lightly.” He stopped, running one hand through his hair. “As for who I am, sweetheart, have you heard of the Straight to Hell MC?”
