I saw her once.
That was all it took.
Now Callie West belongs to me.
She thinks I’m her protector. The man who rescued her when her life fell apart.
She doesn’t know I’ve been watching her for months.
Learning her habits.
Memorizing her smiles.
Planning a future she never agreed to.
When enemies from my past close in, Callie becomes a target. The safest place for her is with me.
The only problem?
The closer she gets, the more dangerous my obsession becomes.
Because I’ll do anything to keep her.
And once I claim what’s mine…
I never let go.

She placed a bottle of beer down in front of one of the men, and he grabbed her arm, pulling her close. She let out a little squeal, and anger rushed through Evander as he stepped in closer. He gripped the man’s wrist, applying just enough pressure to make a point. The asshole attempted to fight for dominance, trying not to show he was in pain. The fool.

“That is no way to treat a lady.”

“She’s no lady,” he said.

“You know what, Mitch, I think we should go and see Leah. She wants our money.” The guy who sat next to this fucker tried to play the peacekeeper.

Evander released the man’s wrist and waited. He hoped the bastard would take him on. No one touched Callie. And he was always up for a good fight.

They left, as did the rest of the men sitting at the bar.

“Wow, er, thank you,” Callie said.

He turned his full attention to her.

“How’s your arm?” he asked.

Callie looked down at herself and smiled. “It’s nothing. It’s all part of the job, right?”

“Dealing with asshole men, yes, I can see that.”

She laughed. “What can I get you?”

“A beer.” He had no intention of drinking.

“I think I recognize you. Do you come in here often?” Callie asked.

“Sometimes.” He’d been coming in most nights, but rarely did she see him. Callie didn’t need to know that for the past couple of months, he’d been stalking her. He knew all of her movements, what she liked, what she hated. Even some of her taste in music, which was not the same as his. She loved modern pop. He was more into soul. There was also a nineteen-year age gap, but age was just a number.

“I thought I recognized you. If you don’t mind me saying, this place is beneath you. I know a good bar a few blocks from here that would be more your style.”

“And why is that?” he asked.

“The suit. It’s designer, right? Trust me, we don’t get people like you in here that often. My boss tries to remember the glory days of years ago when it was the best thing going.”

“If you don’t like the place, why do you work here?”

“I can’t afford to be too picky. The job market isn’t exactly open for me right now.” She shrugged. “I go where I need to. Besides, I’m not afraid of a little hard work. You may not belong here, but I do.”

Evander thought of the file he had on her. Her mother died when she was eighteen, but before she moved to the city, she lived in a trailer park in a small town. He wanted to take her away from all of this. To fill her life with all the things she deserved.

She placed a beer right in front of him, and with no one else to serve, she grabbed a tray and headed out, scooping up the empty bottles and glasses that had been left on tables. He heard the sound of stickiness under her shoes as she walked.

He wanted to throw her over his shoulder and carry her away from this shithole. She wasn’t happy. He saw it in her eyes. She avoided the men who were currently staring up at the stripper on stage. Callie didn’t look anywhere but at the tables. She moved as far away from the men as possible.

Evander kept an eye on them. None of them would be touching his woman.

Sold to my Best Friend’s Dad

Blurb

Clara has had a crush on her best friend’s dad for years. She wishes she could get him out of her head, but Grayson Blackwell invades her every thought. The fact he’s a bully, rude, and dismissive doesn’t turn her off. It only fuels her desire to get his attention.

Grayson’s more than twice Clara’s age, not to mention she’s his daughter’s best friend. Any intimate entanglement would cross too many lines to count. The facts don’t seem to cool his desire for the young, curvy blonde. He decides to make a secret deal with her, one he hopes will help him end his obsession.

It starts with a contract, but things get messy once emotions get involved. Can they make their taboo relationship work or will it pull their lives apart?

Excerpt:

Clara struggled to carry the first box upstairs. The last thing she wanted was to drop the box and smash all the glass bottles of wine. Taking one step at a time, she slowly made her way up, occasionally resting the box on one of her knees. By the time she brought all the boxes up, she’d be a sweaty, disgusting mess. She expected to hang balloons or something, not haul heavy boxes.

She set the first box near the kitchen island and headed back for number two. Clara bent down and struggled to heave the second box up off the floor, using the wall as leverage. Then the weight of the box was gone, and she gasped, thinking it was about to fall.

“I’ve got it.”

Clara looked up, right into Grayson’s face. He was wearing a fancy suit, his wild hair casually slicked back. And he smelled too tempting.

“Where’ve you been hiding?”

She opened her mouth, but no sound came out.

He easily set the box back on the stack. “Leave these. I have staff to haul this shit.”

Grayson stared at her, using a finger under her chin when she looked to the ground.

“You were pretty confident last time you were here. Remember that? You said you didn’t need time to think about our arrangement.”

Then she remembered the price issue.

“You’re not paying enough.” She wanted to bite her tongue. If anything, it made her sound like a mega-whore.

“Did we agree on a price?”

She shook her head.

“Then I wouldn’t worry about it,” he said. “Tell me, Clara. What’s the going price for virgin pussy?” He pressed her against the wall, his hand going down between them. Grayson cupped her pussy through her dress with his big, strong hand. “How much is this going to cost me?”

She let out a staggered breath. A flash fire of need made her cunt pulse under his fingers. She dropped her weight lower, needing more, craving this side of him.

“Or will you give it to me for free?”

Yes, yes she would, but then she remembered her mother. She needed this money more than he knew.

Clara attempted to get out of his grasp, but he caged her in, an outstretched arm to each side of her head.

“Two hundred thousand. That’s what it’ll cost you.” With that kind of money, she could pay off her mother’s mortgage, handle all the bills, and leave her enough of a cushion that she wouldn’t need to work so hard.

“Done.” He removed his arms and adjusted his tie. “Stay for the party. I’ll try to find time to get it all on paper.”

To Keep (Circle of Monsters)

Skye witnesses a double murder and is forced to run for her life. She doesn’t know how she’ll survive, but she’ll do anything to live another day. When contracts are taken out on her life, her only hope is a rival assassin determined to use her as collateral. It’s not the best situation but at least she’s safe for now. Things get immeasurably more complicated when she starts to fall for her captor.

Galen King kills for a living, but it’s nothing personal. He works for the Circle of Monsters, a group of ruthless contract hitmen. They do their job, no questions asked, and emotions never get in the way. Each hit is another payday until he has Skye Lewis in his sights—then nothing is the same.

Can he change the rules and keep Skye alive? Or will his boss demand he follow orders or pay the ultimate price?

As soon as Galen’s boss walked away, she could finally breathe again. He was so dark, terrifying, and impossible to read. There was an eerie calmness surrounding him that she knew was anything but peaceful. She could envision him torturing people without an ounce of remorse.

Skye felt safe with Galen. It didn’t make sense, but she was usually a good judge of character. He may be a hit man or whatever he claimed, but he had a good heart, she just knew it. She was drawn to him, knowing he wouldn’t hurt her—at least she hoped.

“This isn’t in my job description,” Galen mumbled.

“What isn’t?”

He looked down at her, more like glared, as if she was a problem to solve. “Keeping people alive.”

She swallowed hard. “It’s better than killing.”

He exhaled his irritation then headed to the doors. She chased behind him, occasionally checking over her shoulder to make sure the other guy wasn’t back. Once they were both inside his car, the tension was palpable.

“So…” she started.

“He can’t be that mad if I can’t keep you alive. I mean, you’re not much use to him anyway.”

“I think you better listen to him,” she said. “He doesn’t seem like a forgiving kind of guy.”

Right now, her only concern was keeping alive and breathing as long as possible. The desire to survive was overwhelming. The past twenty-four hours had been a whirlwind. She should have known her life was too perfect before now. Something had to give, but she never expected to witness a double murder and then get tossed in the middle of a tug-of-war with professional killers.

She’d always been a dreamer. Skye was a live-in nanny, but that didn’t stop her from dreaming about adventure and her own happily ever after—no matter how unlikely. This was not what she had in mind. Her hero may be rock-hard, covered in ink, and unconventionally attractive, but he was just itching to get rid of her. Maybe even kill her. Prince Charming was not supposed to snuff out Cinderella. Everything about this fantasy was messed up.

“I need to eat,” he suddenly said. “I haven’t had any protein today.”

“I imagine you need a lot to feed all those muscles.” She clamped her big, dumb mouth shut to keep from saying anything else. Her face felt instantly hot and flushed.

He gave her a sideways glare, so he wasn’t flattered. He probably thought she was being snarky when she wasn’t.

“We’ll grab some food then we’re going to my place. I need somewhere to keep you until this blows over.”

She felt like a goldfish or something, an unwanted responsibility that wasn’t really much trouble.

“Any chance you’ll just let me go?”

It was worth another shot, but he didn’t answer her. A short time later, he pulled into the drive-thru lane of a fast-food joint. As they waited in line, she noted the bulky watch on his wrist and how the muscles twitched in his thick forearm as he steered the wheel. He even smelled good—a rich, earthy musk that she wanted to breathe in deep.

“What do you want?”

She snapped out of her reverie, trying to gauge the situation. “Huh? Oh, whatever you’re having.”

Once they had their food, they hit the highway. She sipped on her drink, wondering what he was thinking. Did he hate her? Skye knew he didn’t want to babysit her, but she never asked for any of this. Could a man really turn off all emotions or did he feel a little pity for her? If she wanted to stay alive, she needed to appeal to his softer side—if he had one.

“You know, I’m not a child. I won’t inconvenience you or anything.”

“You’re practically a child.”

Her hackles rose. “I’m twenty-five. That’s very much a woman.”

She’d done it again. Skye slunk down in her seat, wishing it would swallow her up whole.

The Bikers Forbidden Affair

Straight to Hell MC 3

Blurb

Tank’s bigger and badder than most of the bikers at the Straight to Hell MC. He’s used to being feared by everyone—then there’s Bell. The curvy blonde waitress doesn’t move out of his way. For some reason, she sees the best in him, never judging him for his past or present. Her sweet love and innocence become addicting. It’s nice not being the monster for once. But she has a tangled past that his prez doesn’t like. Tank’s faced with an impossible choice—love or his club.

Bell doesn’t want to end up with a loser like her deadbeat mother. She wants to make something out of her life, even though it’s easier said than done. Tank’s a big teddy bear and doesn’t even realize it. He’s caring and protective and even though she shouldn’t fall for a bad boy, it’s impossible to keep away from him. The only problem is her boyfriend is keeping her a secret, and secrets are never a good thing. Will he decide to put her first or will their love stay a forbidden affair?

Excerpt:

Holding on to Tank’s shoulder, she swung her leg over the side of the bike. At the same time, her heart raced, and she tried to tell herself she was doing the right thing. In the back of her mind, her grandmother was berating her. Telling her she was being naughty, and that if she’d used her brain back in high school, she wouldn’t be in this mess.

She had used her brain in high school. She’d gotten good grades, but affording college, that had been a laugh. Working one job after another, that had been her life long before she was eighteen.

“Hold on to me,” Tank said.

She wrapped her arms around his waist and pressed her face against his back. “Like this?”

“Yes, like that.”

His back seemed to rumble as he spoke, and she closed her eyes, loving the feel of him in her arms. Even his smell was a unique mix of rich cologne and leather.

This was her boyfriend.

She’d never had a boyfriend before, and Tank was quite something. She was absolutely giddy. Even with the diner being busy, she’d been thinking about him constantly. It was hard to keep the news quiet that she was finally dating this big hunk of a guy.

He turned over the engine, and the machine purred to life. She tensed up and he chuckled.

“I’ve got you.”

“Oh, God, this is insane,” she said. “I’ll never get used to it.”

“Trust me.”

“I do.” She snuggled against him, breathing in his scent.

Tank always smelled good.

Bell squeezed her eyes closed as they started to move and tried to convince her racing heart that everything was going to be okay.

“Are you alive back there?” he asked.

“Yeah, I’m fine. I’m holding on.”

“Bell, open your eyes.”

This made her actually do it. “How did you know?”

“I know you.”

She felt warm inside just hearing that.

Tank took his time. He didn’t rush. He held the bike firmly, and they traveled in a smooth line, heading back to her apartment. Her feet were thanking him.

With each minute that passed and they hadn’t died or injured themselves, she was grateful to him. She had no doubt he could go a lot faster, but she was pleased he’d taken his time with her, considering her feelings.

By the time they arrived at her place, it was late.

Tank held her steady as she climbed off. Her legs did feel a little weak, which he promised was normal. She didn’t think it was normal, but any excuse to have this man touching her, she had no problem with.

They walked hand in hand toward her apartment building. Taking the stairs, they walked toward her door, and Bell tried not to be too embarrassed by the state of her building. This was all she could afford. Knowing Tank had paid for her rent made her a little more aware of what she didn’t have in comparison to him.

At her doorway, she smiled at him, feeling very aware of their proximity.

“Do you want to come in for coffee?” she asked.

“Yeah, I’ll come in for coffee.”

Her heart began to race, heat growing between her legs. She couldn’t keep the happiness out of her voice.

Bred By The CEO

OUT NOW

Breeding Season 10

Blurb

Rose Henshaw was content working as a basement level accountant. It didn’t matter if she wanted more out of life because the cards had been stacked against her since she was born. So she resolved to survive week to week, existing with the small hope of climbing the ladder at work. When she’s unexpectedly offered the sought-after position as the CEO’s personal assistant, she’s as much thrilled as suspicious of the promotion. Besides, how can she get any work done when her boss is absolutely drool-worthy and constantly pushing her buttons?

Darius Blackwood is ready to trade his bachelor status after just one look at Rose. She’s excellent with children and makes him think about crazy things like building a family of his own, complete with heirs to take over his empire. But he’s just hired her as his PA and isn’t sure he should cross that taboo boundary of indulging in an office romance. How long can he work with Rose underfoot while keeping his desires locked away? Can these two broken souls find love and security with each other or is a relationship destined for failure?

Excerpt:

She wasn’t saying a thing. Had he acted inappropriately? He was her boss, after all. At the moment, he swore they were on the same page, an undeniable attraction growing between them. Had he been wrong all along? Did she see him as an old, inappropriate bastard?

“Say something,” he finally said.

“You made a mistake. I understand.”

“It wasn’t a mistake.”

She looked up and made eye contact.

“If you tell me you hated that, I swear it will never happen again. I’ll be professional to a fault.” He took a breath. “Otherwise, I really need to know how you feel.”

“I’m not sure what I should be feeling.”

He spun away, running a hand through his hair. “I’m so sorry, Rose. I should never have put you in this position. I’m not the kind of man who hits on his subordinates. Never have.”

“I’m not upset, just surprised,” she said.

Darius returned his attention to her. The whole world had gone away, his entire focus on her.

“The next move is yours,” he said.

“That was my first kiss.”

His cock instantly firmed up. She was so damn adorable and innocent while being sexier than she could possibly know. “Are you mad at me? Tell me what to do, and I’ll do it.”

“It’s just hard to believe you’re sincere.”

“About you? Are you kidding me? Call it whatever you want, love at first sight or fate, but I knew I had to have you from the first day I met you.”

“I’m not that kind of girl,” she said. “I can’t be bought. And I won’t sell my body for any price.”

He smiled, he couldn’t help himself. “Baby, I’m forty-six. I’m looking for something real, something lasting. I’m hoping that woman could be you, but I also don’t want to force a gorgeous young woman to settle for something she doesn’t want.”

“I do want you,” she blurted.

He raised a brow. “I see.” Honestly, he wasn’t expecting that. He thought he’d royally fucked everything up. Not to mention he’d been convinced she wasn’t interested. “That changes things.”

“What happens now?”

“Well, I’d like to start by taking you on a real date. How about dessert?”

“Excuse me?” she asked.

“Dessert. There are quite a few nice places in walking distance.”

“Oh. Right. Yes, I’d love that.”

He reached out his hand, and she took it. Damn, since when did handholding feel this intimate?

They went the other way up the hall to escape to the street. It was bustling at this time of evening, a line growing outside the restaurant as well. He felt a huge weight off his shoulders. Rose was by his side, and he couldn’t be prouder as numerous sets of eyes turned in their direction. They may be opposites in most ways, but didn’t opposites attract?

He gave her hand a little squeeze. “You’re sure you’re not just trying to appease an old man?” Darius was only half teasing.

“You don’t look old to me.”

“There’s quite an age difference between us.” He didn’t want any issues to come back and bite him in the ass.

“Does it bother you?” she asked.

“Not one bit. You’re the one getting the short end of the stick in this relationship.”

“I don’t think so.” Rose’s arm brushed his as they walked. “You’re wise and mature. What do I need with boys?”

“I like that answer.” He lifted their joined hands and kissed the back of hers.

He couldn’t believe this angel was giving him a chance. Darius already had her first kiss and he had plenty more firsts in store for her. But he had to take his time, show her he wasn’t looking for only one thing.

They walked near an ice cream booth, and he caught her looking. He stopped and nodded toward it. “What do you think?”

She bit her lower lip. “Aren’t we overdressed?”

“There aren’t any rules. If we want ice cream, we get ice cream. Formal wear or not.”
