Sold to my Best Friend’s Dad

Blurb

Clara has had a crush on her best friend’s dad for years. She wishes she could get him out of her head, but Grayson Blackwell invades her every thought. The fact he’s a bully, rude, and dismissive doesn’t turn her off. It only fuels her desire to get his attention.

Grayson’s more than twice Clara’s age, not to mention she’s his daughter’s best friend. Any intimate entanglement would cross too many lines to count. The facts don’t seem to cool his desire for the young, curvy blonde. He decides to make a secret deal with her, one he hopes will help him end his obsession.

It starts with a contract, but things get messy once emotions get involved. Can they make their taboo relationship work or will it pull their lives apart?

Excerpt:

Clara struggled to carry the first box upstairs. The last thing she wanted was to drop the box and smash all the glass bottles of wine. Taking one step at a time, she slowly made her way up, occasionally resting the box on one of her knees. By the time she brought all the boxes up, she’d be a sweaty, disgusting mess. She expected to hang balloons or something, not haul heavy boxes.

She set the first box near the kitchen island and headed back for number two. Clara bent down and struggled to heave the second box up off the floor, using the wall as leverage. Then the weight of the box was gone, and she gasped, thinking it was about to fall.

“I’ve got it.”

Clara looked up, right into Grayson’s face. He was wearing a fancy suit, his wild hair casually slicked back. And he smelled too tempting.

“Where’ve you been hiding?”

She opened her mouth, but no sound came out.

He easily set the box back on the stack. “Leave these. I have staff to haul this shit.”

Grayson stared at her, using a finger under her chin when she looked to the ground.

“You were pretty confident last time you were here. Remember that? You said you didn’t need time to think about our arrangement.”

Then she remembered the price issue.

“You’re not paying enough.” She wanted to bite her tongue. If anything, it made her sound like a mega-whore.

“Did we agree on a price?”

She shook her head.

“Then I wouldn’t worry about it,” he said. “Tell me, Clara. What’s the going price for virgin pussy?” He pressed her against the wall, his hand going down between them. Grayson cupped her pussy through her dress with his big, strong hand. “How much is this going to cost me?”

She let out a staggered breath. A flash fire of need made her cunt pulse under his fingers. She dropped her weight lower, needing more, craving this side of him.

“Or will you give it to me for free?”

Yes, yes she would, but then she remembered her mother. She needed this money more than he knew.

Clara attempted to get out of his grasp, but he caged her in, an outstretched arm to each side of her head.

“Two hundred thousand. That’s what it’ll cost you.” With that kind of money, she could pay off her mother’s mortgage, handle all the bills, and leave her enough of a cushion that she wouldn’t need to work so hard.

“Done.” He removed his arms and adjusted his tie. “Stay for the party. I’ll try to find time to get it all on paper.”

To Keep (Circle of Monsters)

Skye witnesses a double murder and is forced to run for her life. She doesn’t know how she’ll survive, but she’ll do anything to live another day. When contracts are taken out on her life, her only hope is a rival assassin determined to use her as collateral. It’s not the best situation but at least she’s safe for now. Things get immeasurably more complicated when she starts to fall for her captor.

Galen King kills for a living, but it’s nothing personal. He works for the Circle of Monsters, a group of ruthless contract hitmen. They do their job, no questions asked, and emotions never get in the way. Each hit is another payday until he has Skye Lewis in his sights—then nothing is the same.

Can he change the rules and keep Skye alive? Or will his boss demand he follow orders or pay the ultimate price?

As soon as Galen’s boss walked away, she could finally breathe again. He was so dark, terrifying, and impossible to read. There was an eerie calmness surrounding him that she knew was anything but peaceful. She could envision him torturing people without an ounce of remorse.

Skye felt safe with Galen. It didn’t make sense, but she was usually a good judge of character. He may be a hit man or whatever he claimed, but he had a good heart, she just knew it. She was drawn to him, knowing he wouldn’t hurt her—at least she hoped.

“This isn’t in my job description,” Galen mumbled.

“What isn’t?”

He looked down at her, more like glared, as if she was a problem to solve. “Keeping people alive.”

She swallowed hard. “It’s better than killing.”

He exhaled his irritation then headed to the doors. She chased behind him, occasionally checking over her shoulder to make sure the other guy wasn’t back. Once they were both inside his car, the tension was palpable.

“So…” she started.

“He can’t be that mad if I can’t keep you alive. I mean, you’re not much use to him anyway.”

“I think you better listen to him,” she said. “He doesn’t seem like a forgiving kind of guy.”

Right now, her only concern was keeping alive and breathing as long as possible. The desire to survive was overwhelming. The past twenty-four hours had been a whirlwind. She should have known her life was too perfect before now. Something had to give, but she never expected to witness a double murder and then get tossed in the middle of a tug-of-war with professional killers.

She’d always been a dreamer. Skye was a live-in nanny, but that didn’t stop her from dreaming about adventure and her own happily ever after—no matter how unlikely. This was not what she had in mind. Her hero may be rock-hard, covered in ink, and unconventionally attractive, but he was just itching to get rid of her. Maybe even kill her. Prince Charming was not supposed to snuff out Cinderella. Everything about this fantasy was messed up.

“I need to eat,” he suddenly said. “I haven’t had any protein today.”

“I imagine you need a lot to feed all those muscles.” She clamped her big, dumb mouth shut to keep from saying anything else. Her face felt instantly hot and flushed.

He gave her a sideways glare, so he wasn’t flattered. He probably thought she was being snarky when she wasn’t.

“We’ll grab some food then we’re going to my place. I need somewhere to keep you until this blows over.”

She felt like a goldfish or something, an unwanted responsibility that wasn’t really much trouble.

“Any chance you’ll just let me go?”

It was worth another shot, but he didn’t answer her. A short time later, he pulled into the drive-thru lane of a fast-food joint. As they waited in line, she noted the bulky watch on his wrist and how the muscles twitched in his thick forearm as he steered the wheel. He even smelled good—a rich, earthy musk that she wanted to breathe in deep.

“What do you want?”

She snapped out of her reverie, trying to gauge the situation. “Huh? Oh, whatever you’re having.”

Once they had their food, they hit the highway. She sipped on her drink, wondering what he was thinking. Did he hate her? Skye knew he didn’t want to babysit her, but she never asked for any of this. Could a man really turn off all emotions or did he feel a little pity for her? If she wanted to stay alive, she needed to appeal to his softer side—if he had one.

“You know, I’m not a child. I won’t inconvenience you or anything.”

“You’re practically a child.”

Her hackles rose. “I’m twenty-five. That’s very much a woman.”

She’d done it again. Skye slunk down in her seat, wishing it would swallow her up whole.

Happy New Year

Hi Everyone,

What a year it has been! I cannot believe I’m writing this, but we’re now in a brand new year, and first, I want to wish you all an amazing 2022.

2021 has been one wild ride. A lot has happened throughout the world, but I want to focus on the positive. I want to say a massive thank you to all of my amazing readers. You guys have made 2021 incredible. I absolutely loved hearing from you all, and it has been a real pleasure to know that my books have helped you during these dark times. I find it an absolute pleasure to write the stories I do, and I’m so grateful to be able to do this on a daily basis. Thank you all so much. During this past year, I feel I have grown as an author. I finally delved into stories that really speak to me, and I’ve been wanting to write for a long time. These books are part of me, and to release them out into the world, it was a hard decision to do, but one I’m pleased I did.

Down below you will find a short video of the books that were released in 2021. Which one was your favorite?

I have so many plans for 2022, and I hope my muse doesn’t throw a few spanners in the works. I’m excited about the coming year. There are so many stories I want to write. First up, we have The Fake Engagement (which is available for pre-order, more details down below), and then we’ve got a brand new full length MC series, Chaos and Carnage! Trust me, there will be a lot more books to come. Which ones are you wanting to read from me this coming year?

I can’t wait to share more with you all, but for now, I will leave you, wishing you all the best New Year.

Take care,

Sam

Claimed By her Cowboys

Co-Written Stacey Espino

Blurb

They’d given up on women … until they met her.

Gabe isn’t ready to trust anyone, certainly not a live-in housekeeper with a questionable past. His best friends, Vinny and Archie, insist the curvy redhead is the answer to all their problems. They fall too hard and too fast, and the last thing he wants is for Annalise to break their hearts.

Annalise is hiding from her dark past, trying her best to make her own way in life. Being a live-in housekeeper and cook for three single cowboys should have made her leery, but everything about her new job feels like fate. Her employers are perfect gentlemen—until they aren’t. She can’t refuse their attention, but her mind and heart are in disagreement. How can a menage a quatre ever work long term? And why would three of the hardest, sexiest cowboys settle for only one woman?

It doesn’t take long for hearts and tempers to burn hot on the ranch. Once they give into their passion, their foursome becomes an addiction. But can three dominant cowboys share the woman they love? Or will Annalise tear their friendship apart?

Excerpt:

“Sneak up behind them and grab them around the middle. They’re squirmy little things, so make sure you don’t let go once you get a grip,” he said.

Annalise liked pulling her weight around the ranch. They paid her well and gave her room and board, so she liked to do more than just cooking and cleaning when she could. How hard could it be to transfer a few cute, little piglets? And they were cute. In fact, all the animals at this end of the ranch were adorable.

She took measured steps, the muck suctioning around her boots, making it difficult to walk. Annalise wanted to appear capable and not a damsel in distress, but as soon as she lunged forward, her boots stayed rooted and she fell face-first into the mud.

Did Archie just laugh? She swore she heard it for a second.

She struggled to her knees and tried to push the muck off her arms, but she only made it worse.

“Need some help?” he asked.

Annalise answered through clenched teeth. “I’m fine.” She managed to get up with unexpected difficulty, then lifted her boot before going after the next piglet. She was already a mess, so what did it matter now?

Worse than the thick mud was the smell.

When she snagged the rear leg of a piglet, it began to squeal and struggle. She brought it close to her chest as not to drop it and calm it down. Even in her predicament, when she looked down at its little face, she couldn’t help but smile. It was so small and cute.

She hadn’t realized she’d zoned out while bonding with the little pig. Annalise turned in Archie’s direction. “I did it.”

“You certainly did.” He had one booted foot on the fence rail. No man should look that sexy in a pair of blue jeans and t-shirt. She knew for a fact all those muscles were hard-earned and not from a gym. “How about the rest?”

“I think you’ll be much faster than me. One is enough for today.” She was already in desperate need of a shower, and it was a long walk back to the house. Wrangling pigs was not her forte.

She passed the squirming piglet to Archie, and he placed it in a large crate in the back of the trailer. He vaulted over the top rail of the fence into the pen with ease and began snatching up piglets like it was his full-time job—she supposed it was. Archie was a seasoned cowboy, and she watched in awe as he finished up the job with barely any muck on his boots.

Once loaded in the crate, he brushed off his hands and turned to her.

“What just happened?” she asked.

He laughed. She noticed a cute dimple on his right cheek when he smiled, a mix of boyish charm and rugged masculinity. Was Gabe telling the truth, even a little bit, about the three of them being crazy about her? A flicker of hope burned inside of her.

“I have a few talents.”

She had no response because her mind was in the gutter. Annalise just stood there like a clueless, filthy beast.

“The other animals are much easier to handle, but you can’t be comfortable the way you are. Once that mud dries, you won’t even be able to crack a smile.”

She could only imagine what she looked like. “I guess I should head back and clean up.”

He frowned. “No need.” Archie beckoned her to follow him to the barn. He ducked into a stall and came out with a green hose. “We should get the worst of it off here.”

“Okay.” It sounded more like a question because she wasn’t crazy about the idea of being hosed off with cold water.

“Close your eyes. You’ve got a second skin.”

She did as told, using her hands to cup over her eyes. The first blast of cold water made her gasp, but it wasn’t as bad as she expected as the heat outside was brutal. It was almost refreshing and very nice to feel the gross mud wash off.

Archie was thorough, moving around her, soaking her clothes right through. She began to feel self-conscious, realizing her clothes would be clinging to her explosive curves. Would he be able to see clear through her blouse?

When the water stopped, she opened her eyes, running her hands through her wet hair to get it off her face. “This wasn’t how I planned my morning when I came out here with your lunch bag.”

“That’s what makes life fun, isn’t it? The unexpected. The crazy memories.” He was standing close to her, within an arm’s length.

“I’ll definitely remember today for the rest of my life.”

He closed the short distance between them, reaching out to adjust the collar of her shirt. When she glanced down, her blouse was completely transparent and practically glued to her body. Even her satin bra was soaked, showing her dark areolas and hard nipples.

Her face heated with embarrassment. Her cheeks were likely redder than her hair.

When he didn’t move his hand, his fingers caressing her neck, she looked up to make eye contact with him. There was no more humor in his eyes, only need, desire. Her pussy instantly clenched, moisture flooding her already wet panties.

She was thirty years old, but this was the first time she’d been in this position. The range of emotions coming alive inside her confused her, but she undoubtedly wanted Archie. Should she resist? She didn’t want to refuse him anything right now.

“You’re stunning,” he whispered.

Annalise had never been called stunning. His compliments made her entire body tingle. She was soaked and covered in slop only minutes earlier, but his words still sounded sincere.

She swallowed hard, leaning into his touch. His hand was warm and strong.

“You’re all I think about, Annalise.”

“Archie…”

“Every word’s the truth. I should have said something earlier, but I didn’t want to scare you off. We’ve been trying to behave ourselves, to give you space.”

“I don’t want space.”

He supported the back of her head and leaned down to her level, kissing her hard on the mouth. She saw it coming, but it still shocked her. Archie kissed her like it was his last kiss. It felt like love even though that was impossible.

Passion.

Desperation.

Need.

Her knees became weak. The entire world went away, and all she could do was feel, all her senses magnified. He moved his hands down the length of her body. His touch was possessive, not delicate.

“We should get these wet things off you,” he said. The words were whispered close to her ear, then his tongue traced the shell of her ear, making her shiver.

She didn’t protest, allowing him to slip off her blouse. He immediately unfastened her bra, her big tits dropping heavily without the support. Archie growled as he used both hands to cup her breasts. When he bent over to suckle her pebbled nipple, she cried out, sinking her fingers into his dark hair. He took what he wanted, and she was ready to give him everything.

Wolf in Heat

Mated for life 2

What male would be interested in a vegan werewolf?

Heather resigned herself to life without a mate. She’s always been a freak, unable to fit into either the human or shifter world. When her broken family joins a new pack, she’s suspicious and reluctant to accept her new fate. When David starts showing interest in her, it’s hard for her to believe his feelings are genuine. She tries to give him the cold shoulder … until she goes into heat.

David strikes out time and time again with Heather. The new female in their pack refuses to acknowledge they are meant to be together. He’s not one to give up hope, determined to win over the curvy vegan wolf at any cost. When the mating heat takes hold of Heather, he’s the only one who can satisfy her. He’s ready to give her exactly what she craves, but he wants more than just her body.

When Heather runs into danger, will she accept David’s help or sacrifice her own life?

Be Warned: anal sex

Excerpt:

“David’s hurt.”

That captured her full attention. As her sister neared, she grabbed her by both shoulders. “What are you talking about?”

“In town. He got hurt bad. He asked for you.”

“What happened?” Even as she spoke, she was already running, heading right back toward the house where they had numerous vehicles. “Answer me, Mika!”

Her sister was in the driver’s seat of one without being asked, doors slamming shut, steering them toward town. Her heart raced.

“I don’t know all the details. I just know there was another fight.”

“Another? And he got hurt?” David wasn’t a small wolf by any means. The man was huge and hard with muscle. She knew that firsthand. They’d kept their distance for weeks. It was just too awkward to deal with their issues right now.

“Well, there was a bear involved.”

The edge of the little town came into view and she saw Reese standing at the perimeter of the forest, flagging them down. Mika brought the truck to an abrupt stop, and Heather jumped out the moment it came to a standstill.

“David!”

She dropped down to her knees beside her mate, briefly skidding in the dirt. And that was exactly what he was, even if they hadn’t completed their mating bond. He was leaning against an old oak, his hand at his side, blood soaking through his shirt like it had been dipped in crimson paint.

“You came,” he whispered.

“Of course, I came, David.” She tore open his shirt with ease and immediately opened the satchel she always wore around her body. Heather’s grandmother had taught her the art of natural medicine. It was one of her passions. The forest was a treasure trove if only you knew where to look. “What happened? I heard you’ve been fighting?” It wasn’t like him at all. He’d always been a patient man of reason.

“Bear attack.”

The slashes looked deep. His wolf would heal, but not as easily from a bear shifter. “A shifter, right?”

He nodded.

She began to mix two herbs into a paste, then patted it onto the wounds. He hissed as she tended to him, but she kept at her task, her heart still racing. Knowing he needed her helped her to focus, to align all her energy into one purpose. It felt good to be needed, wanted. If anything, just being close to him put her wolf at ease.

Once the blood had stopped, she sat back and exhaled. “Are you going to tell me what’s going on?”

Mika spoke up before David could answer. “He has a death wish, that’s what. He’s been picking fights all week.”

Heather narrowed her eyes. “Is that true?”

“Doesn’t matter,” he said. Why wouldn’t he look her in the eyes?

“I need to be alone with him. Can you head back home with Reese? We’ll be okay,” Heather said.

Mika looked like she wanted to protest, but kept her mouth shut and boarded the truck with Reese. Soon they were completely alone in the privacy of the forest. Only the wind through the leafy canopy could be heard.

“My wolf, he’s been … agitated,” David said.

“Does that have anything to do with us?”

He didn’t answer her.

“What happened to dating, to getting to know each other?” she asked. “You’ve decided to pick fights and throw caution to the wind instead?”

“You’ve managed to keep your distance, no different than before. I’m only human, Heather.”

“But you’re not, are you?”

He looked different than she remembered—jaded, harder.

“No, I’m not, and it’s not so easy keeping my wolf at bay,” he said.

She stood up and paced back and forth in front of him. This was all her doing. She was going against how many centuries of tradition? The mating call was no joke, even she felt it with every beat of her heart. Now she was destroying a perfectly good male because she was messed up in the head.

“Then maybe you should let your wolf guide the way.”

He rose to his feet, towering over her. She glanced at his wound, already stitching itself together with the help of her herbs but mostly from his wolven DNA. Why did his torn open shirt make him look so damn sexy? Her attraction to this shifter was going to be her undoing.

“I didn’t think you liked my wolf,” he said.

“Then you’re wrong.”

She backed away, knowing their wolves were in sync, knowing he’d chase. He matched her step for step until she was pinned deeper in the forest against a massive oak.

“You’re destroying me, Heather. What game are you playing?” He slammed a palm against the tree near her head. She felt his strength reverberate through the tree.

“I’m not. I was waiting for you to take the next step.”

“So you’re ready for me to claim you?” He narrowed his eyes. She noted the sarcasm in his tone, and it felt like he’d given up on them. A new fear began to grow inside her. She didn’t want to push him away to the point she’d lose him forever.

She swallowed, feeling his proximity, wanting him, but so used to fighting her desires. “I’m not trying to be difficult, David. This isn’t easy for me.”

He growled, and the sound traveled all the way down to her pussy. She liked this side of him … or maybe her wolf did. He leaned down, breathing in deeply at her neckline. “I can smell your need.”

“It’s the mating heat.”

David shook his head. “You can’t use that excuse anymore. The mating heat ended weeks ago.” He ran his tongue along the shell of her ear, making her quiver. “Run. I’ll give you a two-minute head start.”

Claiming His Prize

Killer of Kings 5

He never planned to take her…

There was something about the waitress with the black eye. She made him remember where he came from, and he knew he couldn’t stand back and do nothing. Chains kidnapped her, locked her away for her own damn good. He killed the bastard who left his mark on her. Now he has to face judgement for claiming his prize.

He stole her in the dead of night…

It had been a rough shift at the diner, but the man sitting quietly at the back made Lori feel special. He ordered the pie, made her smile, then walked out of her life. She never expected to see him again, but he came back to take what was his. Chains made her feel valuable despite the chains, loved even though she was his captive. When she’s given the chance to run, she can’t. He’s taken over her body and mind, and she wants more. If only she could save him from what was coming … because some sins can’t go unpunished.

Excerpt:

Lori knew what she needed, and her own filthy thoughts shocked her. She was naked, vulnerable, and for the first time in her life, she didn’t feel ashamed of herself. It was the way he looked at her.
With hunger.
He must have reflected her own desires. Chains had the body of a god, and she couldn’t stop staring at all those hard, ripped muscles. He looked like a centurion from one of the movies she’d seen on Netflix, but this one was all hers. His cock was big and thick, and she couldn’t imagine it even fitting inside her. Yet her lust outweighed her fears. If any man was to strip her of her virginity, she wanted it to be Chains. He’d put her first, showing her what she’d been blind to. Made her feel valuable. Safe. Desired.
“Has another man touched you, Lori?”
She shook her head. It wasn’t a lie. Between working at the diner and babysitting, she had no time to socialize—not that any man showed interest in her. Catcalls and crude propositions at the bus stop at night didn’t count.
“I like that,” he said. “I’ve been holding back. It was important to me that you knew this wasn’t about sex.”
Lori bit her lip. “And now?”
“I’m not going anywhere, baby. So there’s no sense in torturing myself anymore, is there?”
She needed him, had for a while now. His holding back had given her a complex and made her desperate for his touch. “No. I don’t want you to hold back.”
He was a lot taller than she was, all sinewy muscle. She dared to reached up and trace her fingers along his defined pecs, and then down his ripped abs. He had a lot of old scars, but one thing she noticed was the complete lack of tattoos.
Chains didn’t move, allowing her to explore his body. When she reached low enough, he grabbed her wrist. She looked up to gauge his reaction. He licked lips. “Keep going, baby girl.”
She swallowed her fears and wrapped her fingers around his cock, testing the thickness. It was rock hard with a silky skin, and she was intrigued by his masculinity. “Does this feel good?” she asked, slowly stroking her fist over his erection.
“You have no idea.”
Lori smiled, excited that she was able to affect him with a simple touch. It gave her a sense of power, and she savored the fact he wanted her just as much. “You have no tattoos. I thought bad boys always had some.”
“My body’s my own. Nobody gets to brand me.” There was such emotion in those few words, and she wondered what he’d been through when he was younger. He’d told her horrible bits and pieces, and she was sure the full picture would shock her to the core. All they could do now was start over, make today the first day of forever.
“I love your body,” she said. Lori reached up and held his shoulders. “You’re so strong. So hard.”
He grit his teeth, then grabbed her waist, hoisting her up on the wooden kitchen table. “Lean back on your elbows,” he said.
She did as instructed, carefully resting back on the table, her entire body never so exposed. He squeezed her thighs, staring down at her with the eyes of a predator, a man hanging desperately on the edge. Chains leaned over and kissed her stomach, making her giggle.
