Maeve

At sixteen, I learned my fate.
On my twenty-first birthday, I wouldn’t be celebrating—I’d be handed over as payment for my parents’ sins.
I fought. I rebelled. I tried to escape.
None of it mattered.
Now I belong to him.
And my life is no longer my own.

Draven

I never wanted the deal.
But the moment I saw her, I knew one thing—she was mine.
I won’t break her. I won’t hurt her.
I’ll protect her.
Earn her trust.
Make her choose me … even if she has no choice at all.
But someone wants her dead.
And if her own family would rather see her buried than delivered to me…
What aren’t they telling me?
Because I’m already too far gone.
Maeve is mine.
And I’m not letting her go.

“I’m about to call for lunch,” he said, stopping when he caught sight of me. “Care to join me?”

“Sure.”

I’m trying to act casual. I’m wearing a simple white summer dress, with straps wide enough to cover my bra straps, but it only falls to my knees.

Draven walked into his office, holding the door open for me, and I walked past him and to one of the sofas. He has two, on either side of a coffee table. Near the main window sits his desk.

“How are you?” Draven asked.

It’s nice to know his name. “I’m good.”

Draven sits down opposite me, and I can’t help but watch him. His gaze is on me as well.

“How old are you?” I asked.

“Thirty-five.”

“Wow,” I said.

“Does my age bother you?”

“No.” I happened to like the fact he was older. Not that I had been around a lot of men my own age, but I had seen a lot of movies to know they were not exactly mature. Draven looked mature.

“How is your neck?” he asked.

“Fine.”

His sleeves are rolled up, showing off his thick, heavily inked arms.

“Did you like getting tattoos?” I asked.

He sat back and looked at me. “Did you?”

I couldn’t help but smile. “I asked you first.”

“And seeing as I am the oldest, you will answer me.”

“Yes, I did. They hurt, but then a needle digging into your flesh is going to hurt.”

He chuckled. “I rather like the pain. After a while, I didn’t feel it.”

“That was the same for me.”

I don’t want to talk about ink, or pain.

“Maeve, come here,” he said.

In that moment, I was like a moth to a flame. I walk around the coffee table and stand right in front of him.

At first, Draven doesn’t move or make a sound, but then he takes hold of my hand. He strokes his finger across my inner wrist, and it felt so good, I didn’t want it to stop.

“Tell me what is going on in that mind of yours,” he said.

“Nothing.”

“You think I don’t see the interest in your eyes, Maeve?” he asked. “Do you think I didn’t notice you were looking at me from your bedroom window, or that last night you wriggled against my dick because you felt how hard I was getting?”

I thought I had been subtle, but I felt him pressing against me, and I had enjoyed it.

The moment he tugged on my wrist, I didn’t fight and instead fell against him. Draven is a man in charge and knows what he wants. He moves my knees into position so that I straddle him.

“Is this what you want?” he asked, both his hands at my hips as he held me in place.

I feel the hard ridge of his cock, even through his pants.

“Yes.”

I don’t fight him, and I’m not afraid. Draven has already proven he doesn’t want to hurt me, so I place my hands on his shoulders and stare into his eyes, refusing to look away. He has intense brown eyes. I had a feeling they were probably scary to look at, especially if he was staring at an enemy. I was not his enemy.

I’d never been this bold with a man. I had learned to fight, and I had gone dancing. I rebelled in the hope of changing my fate, but nothing was going to help me. My fate had been sealed long before I was even born.

I was going to belong to Draven Adams. From the age of sixteen, I’d been so pissed about that. I hadn’t even known his name, nor who he was, just that I was going to be owned by a man. I would mean nothing. I would be nothing, and there was no way I would be able to change that.

Now, I am so happy to be owned by him. I know it is crazy and fucking stupid. All this time, I should have been looking for a way to escape, but why? I am happy. I know there were probably many people that had been in my position who were dead now. I was lucky. Draven had no intention of killing me. I didn’t know exactly what he was going to do to me, but I also didn’t care.

Cupping his face, I feel bold, like I am tired of holding back. For a long time, I have wanted to scream and keep it in place, and now I close that small distance between us and kiss him. I kiss my captor, and I don’t let go.

I love the feel of his lips against mine, and one of the hands on my hips slides up and grips the back of my neck. I hesitate, expecting the fear to come flooding back, but he’s holding the back of my neck, and the other hand is gripping my hip tightly. There is no mistaking what is going on right now. Draven is touching me. I want his hands all over me, touching me, exploring me.

There is a knock at the door, and I pull away.

“Fuck off,” Draven said, growling the words.

“That’s not very nice,” I said.

“I’m not a very nice man.”

It was on the tip of my tongue to argue with him, but all too soon, Draven has his hands on my waist, and he’s spun me around so that my back is to him.

“What are you doing?” I asked.

So she went to him to pay a debt and became his treasure–so great. I really did love this story it was so great! Couldn’t stop reading–not as “dangerous” as some but still great read.

His Beauty, Her Beast – 5 out of 5 stars.

Maeve Taylor is twenty one years old and reached the point in her life that the sole purpose of her being born was all for has now finally arrived. At the young age of sixteen Maeve learnt that she was nothing more than a pawn to be used in a game she never even asked to play a part in. Her only role is to be used in payment for a blood debt created by her parents. Once she learned her role she did everything she could to rebel, change her hair, get tattoos but nothing could stop this process from being honoured. In her mind her life was over before it had even begun. Draven Adams was the one to collect the outstanding debt from the Taylor family after his father had passed. All debts to be collected went to him. At the age of thirty five he wasn’t really interested in the debts, he had his own empire he had made and he ruled it with an iron fist. However one look at Maeve and the fire in her eyes and he instantly knew that she belonged to him. He would claim her and protect her and treat her as the precious gem she truly is. All whilst taking his revenge on those stupid enough to try to take her away from him. Wow, this was a great read! Maeve may not have had much of a choice in her life but she didn’t let it break her or snuff out her light, she is stronger than she even realises. Draven is a man surrounded in mystery with more power and capable of so much destruction that Maeve does not fully understand the lengths her man will go to to love and protect her. Even though the situation they come together by is not an everyday occurrence their chemistry is there and slowly builds as they spend time together and Draven continues to surprise Maeve with his charm, actions and smiles reserved just for her. Their passion is scorching hot and the story hides some twists and turns along the way that you would not expect. It was a great read that I thoroughly enjoyed with an epilogue that gave us a perfect ending. Loved it. Happy Reading.
Please note that I was given an arc of this book for my honest review which is exactly what I have given.
5 out of 5 stars.

New Release: A Wife’s Duty

She has a choice to make, but will she make the right one?

This is a completely standalone story.

Lucia Valdez knew she was hated by her family, which is why she was given away as a peace offering. Boone Grinder was not a nice man, and he had been making waves for the Bonaldi mafia for quite some time.

No one knew who this man was, what he did, or why he did it. All they knew, was he was responsible for making the streets run red.

Boone Grinder wasn’t your ordinary villain. He didn’t deal in illegal business, and the truth was, he wanted to be left alone. Only, they wouldn’t leave him alone. He saw the injustice that was happening to small businesses at the hands of the Bonaldi mafia, and he couldn’t stand by and allow it to continue.

Taking Lucia as his wife was the first step in their downfall. They believed they had insulted him. In fact, they had given him the woman he wanted. Before things get too far, he gives her a choice—him or her father.

It’s a wife’s duty to stay by her husband’s side. Boone has done nothing but show Lucia kindness, and given her a life she never thought possible. She will always pick him, and as for her family … it was their choice to let her go.

And then, when it came time to hand out their punishment, he had told them. “I usually give people a choice. One is the right choice, the other is the wrong choice.” He’d looked at the two of them. “But you have both told me you knew who I was, what those people meant to me, and you still did what you did. You attacked a woman who was defenseless, so you made your choice.”

They could have gone to him. He would have listened and dealt with Valdez effectively.

The men had screamed for their lives. To make it fair, he’d not slowly killed one, then worked on the other. They both got to watch as pieces of their body were removed, and currently on the way to Valdez, as well as Bonaldi, as he was now in the shower with Lucia.

They thought they knew who they were dealing with. They were very much mistaken. He was a good man, a kind man, a fair man—to the people that deserved it. To those that didn’t, he was the man monsters feared. There was no remorse.

Seeing Nancy bruised, battered, and broken in that hospital bed was all he needed. Killing those men meant nothing to him. However, he already had wheels in motion for Leandro, as the youngest son had been given instructions to find the means of ending Boone’s life.

The one good thing about going to Valdez’s home was he’d been able to install a few listening devices.

Leandro was going to one of his older apartments, with the intention of setting a bomb. The young man didn’t realize that Boone had already got him beat, and the moment he stepped inside his home, there was a trap ready to lock him in place. All he had to do was wait.

Pulling out of his thoughts, he focused on his wife, her naked body in his arms, and playing with her swollen clit. She shook within his arms, and he continued to tease her clit, knowing she was a virgin and there was no holding back. He felt the change within her, and the moment she came, he listened to the soft gasp that escaped her, and he held her in his arms, refusing to let go. Kissing her neck, then her shoulder, she let out a little moan.

He reached for the soap. His hands were already free of the blood. He wouldn’t have touched Lucia with blood-coated hands. Lathering up the soap, he didn’t bother to reach for the sponge, and instead got to soaping his wife. Touching every inch of her body, running the soap intently across her skin. She didn’t have any ink on her. He noticed there were a few scars.

“Did your father do these?” he asked.

She jerked within his hold, but he refused to let her go. “Yes.”

He’d pay for that as well. Enzo Valdez Senior had already written his death certificate. It was just up to Boone to execute it. As well as Bonaldi. That man was also going to die. The wheels were in motion.

After soaping Lucia’s body, he reached for the shampoo, but Lucia surprised him by taking the soap from him.

“My turn.”

He was not going to argue with her. She lathered the soap up in her hands, much like he had. He watched and waited, knowing that imagining her touch was going to be far different from actually touching him. She looked nervous.

He reached for her hand, then placed it on his chest. “To clean me, you have to touch me.”

She rolled her eyes, and it was so freaking cute, he couldn’t resist stealing a kiss. She let out a gasp.

Wrapping his fingers around her wrists, he didn’t squeeze or hold her too tightly. He got her to run her hands all over his body, getting him soaped up. He noticed she kept biting her lip, and it was so sexy the way she did it. It was like he was a piece of her puzzle she was trying to figure out. When she got to his cock, she hesitated, her hand going stiff within his grip.

Taking hold of her hand, he wrapped her fingers around his length, and he was already starting to get aroused at the sight of her.

“You won’t hurt me.”

“But…”

“Touch me, Lucia.”

He watched her take a deep breath, and then she touched him. her fingers tightening around his length just a little, then squeezing. He gritted his teeth, trying to stay focused. It was next to impossible, although he was not some randy boy. He fucking felt like it with Lucia’s touch. If he came now, it was going to embarrass them both.

“That feels so good,” he said.

Lucia looked up at him. “I’m doing this right?”

“I’d tell you if you were doing it wrong.” He wouldn’t hold back in guiding her to do exactly what he wanted.

She continued to play with his cock, only now she certainly wasn’t cleaning him. It was time to move this to the bedroom.

Turning off the shower, all the blood had been removed from his body, and he picked Lucia up in his arms, not caring that they were still wet. She let out a gasp, and he carried her through to their bedroom, where he placed her on the bed.

“Tell me now you don’t want this,” Boone said.

“I want you.”

NEW RELEASE: His Virgin Wife

This is a complete standalone story, and it should come with a warning as this is one of my spiciest books. 🔥

A lame doormat.

That’s how Emily Craven sees herself. Three months ago, she was kidnapped by her father’s enemy. She spends most of her days serving her captor, waiting for when he will finally kill her. She has no idea why she is still alive. Much to her shame, she is attracted to the man who took her.

Dom Wylde is a cruel man. There is one person he cannot stand, and it’s Emily’s father. He will do whatever it takes to kill him. However, what Emily doesn’t know is he owed her mother a debt.

Emily’s father intended to sell her virginity to the highest bidder, and now it is up to him to keep her safe. At first, Emily is willing to do whatever it takes for her freedom. Dom wants her body, and she would gladly give it to him. What surprises Dom, is Emily is not all that she seems.

What starts as a game, soon changes as he … demands marriage. He will bring all of her forbidden desires to life, in return, she must be his wife. There is no alternative. Emily belongs to him.

But, there is still the threat of her father. Will he be able to keep her safe?

He owned multiple businesses, some legal, most not. He made a lot of money and was good at what he did. Men feared him because he wasn’t afraid to do what was necessary to get what he wanted.

There were rules he followed. He had his own code of ethics. Kids were off the table. Stolen women were not his business either. The only woman he had kidnapped in his forty years was right next to him, her blonde hair falling around her in a beautiful cascade. Golden hair and wide blue eyes.

She didn’t know how to answer his question. If he let her go, Nigel would do exactly what he wanted with her. It was not his business. He knew there were cops and people who were on the hunt for Nigel. It was their job to catch him.

There was something about Emily that made it impossible for him to let her go. She was not his problem. Yet, he couldn’t do that.

The men Nigel dealt with didn’t have any problem raping a woman to get what they wanted. Nigel wouldn’t care about what happened to his daughter, so long as they paid for the privilege to do it.

Staring at Emily, he knew she didn’t deserve that life. He knew all about Emily and her mother, Nora. Nora had contacted him. It must have taken a lot for her to do that. She was worried about her daughter and the way Nigel was acting. He’d never been attentive to his little girl, and now that she was turning into a beautiful woman, he was showing an interest.

Dom had taken Emily. Now, as he looked at her, he knew her life would be forever in danger with Nigel out there. The man was pissed that someone had stolen his daughter. He had come to him, demanding her release. Dom played his cards right and told him he didn’t know what the fuck he was talking about. He lied easily to his enemy’s face, and for good reason. Emily deserved a chance at life.

The only reason he hadn’t killed Nigel was because the law was following him around. Dom wasn’t stupid, and there was no way he was going to risk his own life to kill his enemy. There would be no prison cell for him.

Nora also played the stupid card to her ex, but instead turned the tables on Nigel. He didn’t know why Nigel hadn’t just killed Nora, but he figured there was something Nora had or knew Nigel didn’t want discovering. Either way, they were both protecting this woman.

Now, he said he would keep her safe, but he didn’t promise Nora he would keep his hands to himself. For the past three months, he’d played the good little host. Keeping her here, allowing her to wait on him. He didn’t need a waitress or staff. He liked watching Emily walk away from him. The jeans he chose for her molded to that curvy ass with utter perfection.

The tops she wore showcased her curvy body, just the way he liked. She had nice, full tits and a small waist that bloomed into full, rounded hips. He loved her shapely ass and those thick thighs. He loved watching her in either a dress or a skirt, or jeans. It didn’t matter, they all showed off her body to visual heaven.

Dom didn’t give a shit that she was a virgin. He’d never been with a virgin himself, and knowing no other man had touched her was a temptation.

She would have made Nigel a lot of money. Not anymore.

He watched as she licked her lips. There was no sensual act, she simply moistened her lips and glanced away. He watched her take a deep breath, which pushed her chest out, squeezing those tits together.

“What would you like me to do? Be your servant? Wait on you?” She pushed some of her hair past her shoulder.

Dom couldn’t help but smile. He continued to stare at her. Emily was one of a kind, that was for sure. She glanced away and then looked up.

There was two ways he could handle this. One was taking his sweet time, torturing her a little, milking this for everything it was worth. The second was just being blunt.

“I want to fuck you, Emily,” he said.

An outcast. An outsider.

One woman in particular has told her it was only a matter of time before Massimo woke up.

Massimo knows his wife is in danger. By being his wife, it instantly puts a target on her head. He hated that she ran, but he has no problem kidnapping her, and taking her to his reclusive cabin where she would have no means of escape.

He will not let her go. The moment he met Elsie, she got under his skin, and there is no one else he wants more than her. She is the love of his life, and he will not give her up without a fight.

But what will they do when another woman is determined to tear them apart? Massimo will do whatever it takes, even if that means going to war to keep Elsie alive.

Elsie Santorini didn’t know how her husband had been able to find her so fast. She was used to sneaking off without anyone being aware that she’d been gone. Years of growing up in the foster care system, bouncing from place to place, she learned how to run and hide.

She thought as an adult her days of running away were over, but it would seem not. Rushing into the apartment she had started to rent just this week, she scrambled toward the closet, grabbing her bag. She hadn’t unpacked. Again, another rule she had learned while being on the run from foster homes. Not all homes were bad, but most of them only had people who were interested in cashing in a paycheck. They had no care for the children they were supposed to protect. Most of the time, they didn’t care. The few that did tended to keep to the younger kids.

Elsie learned not to trust any of them.

The biggest mistake she ever made was getting comfortable, and the same problem happened with her husband. She got too comfortable.

Her hands shook as she quickly checked to make sure everything was packed. She had her passport, some cash, and she moved as fast as she could, heading toward the door only to come to a stop as it slammed open. Her heart started to race as she looked at him, the panic so close to the surface. She stared at the man she once thought of as her hero. He was not her hero.

They were a couple that should never have been. Most of the men and women within his circle didn’t like her. She was the outcast. She hadn’t known, when she’d fallen in love with Massimo, that he was one of the notorious members of the local mafia. He ran the whole freaking city and had businessmen, politicians, and so many more eating out of his pocket.

All she had been to him was a nice waitress. He came for coffee at the café where she worked. She didn’t know her boss was a rare friend to Massimo. It was the only reason he went to the damn café. She had thought it was because he loved her, but in recent weeks that had proven to be wrong.

His betrayal cut deeper than she ever thought possible, and she was used to being betrayed.

Nibbling her bottom lip, she stared at him, at the deep blue eyes she thought stared at her so longingly when he’d taken her virginity. They hadn’t been married when they had sex, but within forty-eight hours, he organized everything so they became husband and wife.

Elsie hadn’t been interested in his wealth or title. She had loved him, the man, the person who made her laugh, who took her on long walks through the park. The man who gave her his jacket because she felt cold. That was the man she fell in love with.

He hadn’t hidden his true self from her. On the evening of their wedding, he had told her exactly who he was and what he did. She knew he murdered people. Part of her knew she should care, but she also knew there were people in the world who didn’t deserve to live.

She had no doubt he probably killed innocent people, but she loved him more than anyone or anything in the world. She didn’t want to be without him. So, she ignored the warnings. Even when his people looked at her with disdain, he was there, always by her side. On her side. They called her many names—a whore, a gold-digger—but she didn’t care. Massimo loved her and she loved him.

“How did you find me?” she asked. She’d been careful in hiding her tracks. She was no amateur.

“I don’t know what made you leave,” he said. “Running around the streets without any protection is stupid.”

She shook her head. “I want a divorce!”

Even as she said those words, she felt like she was plunging a knife into her own chest. Tears sprang to her eyes.

“No,” Massimo said.

“You can’t do this. Just because you don’t want something, doesn’t mean I have to follow along with whatever you say. We’re not compatible, Massimo!”

“You’re wrong, or should I remind you of how good I make you scream?”
