Cyrus pulled his truck into the small parking space in front of her home. The main lights illuminated the whole street.
Willow looked toward her home, then over to Cyrus.
“I had a great time tonight,” she said.

“Do you want to come in for coffee?” she asked.
“Willow, I want to come in, but not to drink coffee. I want to … lick your pussy,” he said.
His words made her bite her lip, and then glance down at the dashboard.
He was being honest with her. Willow wasn’t a fool. She knew about the town Reapers, and she also knew their identities needed to be kept silent.
“I think, seeing as you’ve been honest with me, I think it is only fair I’m honest with you.” She pressed her lips together. He didn’t say anything.
“Are you mad?” Willow asked.
“No, I’m not mad, just shocked.”
“Mom knew Dad was one,” Willow said. “He was honest with the two of us, and he was also honest that he couldn’t remain as one either. It really upset him. I hope I’ve not broken any code.”
He shook his head. “Family members tend to know, or not know. I think it depends on the person and if they feel they can handle it.”
“You knew my secret and I guess I wanted you to know that I also knew yours.” She turned to look at him. “Does that change anything?”
“No, I still want to lick your pussy, but what I can tell you is that tomorrow morning, I’ve got to leave early to do Reaper things.”
“Okay.”
“Do you still want to invite me in?” he asked.
She looked toward her house. “Yes.”
There was a part of her brain that was screaming no, because she didn’t have the first clue what she was doing. Another side of her brain wanted to know what to do. She wanted to get naked with Cyrus and do the kinds of things she wrote about in her books.
Climbing out of the truck, Willow didn’t linger and instead went to her front door. She had only taken one sip of her beer, and that had been enough to remind her of the rotten taste of beer. It was so gross. For the rest of the night, it was soda all the way.
Still, her hand shook a little as she tried to push the key into the hole. Cyrus took the key from her and slid it in, unlocking her door. She knew Lost Creek was a safe town. Her parents hadn’t gotten out of the habit of locking the door, and she still did.
Stepping into her home, she flicked on the light. She drew her curtains before she left for the night.
Cyrus closed the door, and she turned to look at him, and then she didn’t know what to do. She was nervous and excited. It was a lot easier to write what happened next. This was a whole new experience.
“Come here,” he said.
Willow stepped closer to him. There was a small gap between them. Not a lot, just enough, but Cyrus was the one to close it, as he reached out and gripped the back of her neck, and now they were body to body, toe to toe.
She tilted her head back to look at him. He was a lot taller than her, and she had no choice but to look at him like this.
His thumb stroked across her lips.
