Bull can try to win her back, but he may have lost the love of his life.

He broke her heart, but she will find it in her power to build herself up?

Excerpt:

Last night had been going so great until Maddie froze on him.

“You know I would never hurt you.”

“I don’t know what this is about.”

“You wanted my kisses last night, Maddie. You were enjoying my touch.”

“Is that what this is about?” she asked. “Because I changed my mind. A woman can do that, you know? She can change her mind.”

“I have no problem about you changing your mind. What I want to know is why.”

“I don’t have to tell you why,” she said.

“No? And you think that’s fair?” he asked.

“Does it matter if it’s fair? I don’t have to give a reason. I…” She closed her eyes and held one hand out. “I’m sorry if I gave you the wrong impression.”

“Bull fucking shit. Don’t try to play me, Maddie. It won’t fucking work. I’m the master at that shit.” He took a step toward her. He was a grown man and could handle a shit load of rejection, not that he’d experienced much of it. Most had come from this woman in front of him, but she had also shown him part of herself. The part that had started out enjoying his touch. “I saw you, Maddie. I felt you. I … I know you were like fire in my arms, ready to go up in flames. I felt it. I know what it was like. I wanted you again, and again. You craved my kisses, you wanted my hands on your body. What the fuck did I do to change it?”

Tears glistened in her eyes, and her lip wobbled.

She shook her head, biting her lip, and he saw how torn up she was. It broke his fucking heart. No woman had ever hit him like this, but damn it, Maddie was proving to be more special than he anticipated, and it was fucking killing him inside.

“Maddie, talk to me.”

She took a deep breath. “You didn’t do anything wrong.”

This made him laugh, and it wasn’t a natural one either. This was very much forced.

“Maddie, I was there, I felt the difference between us. I know something wasn’t right.”

She licked her lips, which she pursed immediately after.

He watched her sigh, and then, she nodded. “I … I’m not like the other women you’ve been with,” she said.

“What the fuck is that supposed to mean? You haven’t spread your legs for every single guy at the club. That isn’t something to be upset about.”

She shook her head. “No, that’s not what I meant.” She unfolded her arms and moved her hands up and down her body. “I don’t look like the women you go for.”

He stared at her and knew instantly what she referred to. She wasn’t slender. She was all curves everywhere.

“So?” he asked.

She looked up to the ceiling, and tears fell down her cheeks. He hated seeing her like this, so cut up, so miserable. This wasn’t what he wanted her to feel.

He took a step toward her, and Maddie took a step back.

Bull stopped. “Did you like my kisses?”

“What does that have to do with it?”

“Just answer the question.” He needed her. Seeing her cry and hearing the slight break in her voice broke him. All he wanted to do was pull her into his arms and tell her how fucking desirable she was. How he ached for her. How he’d waited so long to tell her that he’d wanted her.

For years, he’d been admiring her curves, wanting to get closer to her, but she seemed so far away.

“Yes.”

“Yes, what?”

“Damn it, Bull. You know I liked your kisses. You know I loved having your hands on me. I loved it. It felt incredible, and I didn’t want it to stop, but I don’t want to be a damn pity fuck. I don’t want to be that person. Not again.”

“Not again? You mean this has happened before?”

She released a growl. “Ugh, can’t you just accept that I’m not the kind of woman you want?”

“Hell no. Not when you don’t fucking see what is clearly right under your stubborn nose.”

“I know how this goes. You have your fun. You’ve done your deed to charity and then I’m tossed aside.”

“First of all, I have never in all my life been so insulted, and considering I fucking run Chaos and Carnage, that’s saying something. I would never pity fuck you, Maddie French. In fact, what I want to do is strip you naked, bend you over all the surfaces, and fuck every single part of you. I crave you that much.”

The Fake Engagement

Blurb

Coming from a town run by his family, Preston Boone has wanted to prove everything isn’t handed to him. He’s achieved all his goals, showing them he can make it on his own. But now, with his parents celebrating a big wedding anniversary, he knows they’re going to parade all the eligible women in front of him. A little white lie of an engagement couldn’t hurt, could it?

Eliza Drake hates her good-looking, workaholic boss. After one night of tequila, she’s fake engaged to her boss. For one month, she has to play the role of a happy fiancée, and in return, she’ll never worry about her job ever again. One month of sharing a bed, of accepting Preston’s kisses, and the feel of his arms … nothing could go wrong, right?

Sometimes love is in the most obvious of places, but will these two crazy lovebirds figure it out?

Excerpt

Preston went over to his father. “You need any help?”

“Never come between a man and his grill, son. You know the drill.”

He laughed. “Yeah, I remember. Even when we were kids you were pretty protective of this grill.”

“There is nothing wrong with wanting to protect. That’s all I’m saying.” His dad held his hands out.

It was a large grill. There were three separate iron grills, and the coals underneath were spread from extreme, to mild heat.

“The art in grilling is knowing when everything is cooked. You know the story of how I poisoned your mother the first time I got this grill.”

Preston laughed. “Yeah, I remember. She told me she wouldn’t eat a thing from you until you took a food safety course.”

“The woman was right. I was cooking my chicken all wrong. Now, I know the sweet spot.” He kissed the tips of his fingers and raised them in the air. “Your mother loves my grilled food.”

Preston folded his arms. “You haven’t said anything about Eliza.”

“What do you want me to say?” Greg asked. “I haven’t gotten the chance to talk to her. From what I see, she’s a nice girl, but I can’t go giving you an opinion based on looks alone. She seems nice. That’s all I can say.”

“Dad, come on. I know you adored Lydia, Grace, and Scarlett the first time you met them.”

Greg sighed. “No, Preston, I didn’t love them the first time I met them. All you heard was the boys’ interpretation. I reserve all of my judgments until I get to know them better. You, of all people, should know that.”

“And why the hell should I know that?”

“You’re a businessman, Preston. You know that you’ve got to keep your feelings pretty close to your chest. You can’t let the world be able to read you. But I do have a question for you, son. Have you stopped being able to read yourself?”

There were moments, like now, that he hated his father. Greg Boone was a good man, but he was also the kind of man who saw everything.

Pretending with Eliza was a long shot.

His dad wasn’t convinced, which was why he wasn’t going to call her out.

Crap.

He should have seen this coming. Even if he’d done nothing wrong but was thinking about doing something, his father always caught him prior to the act. His dad was a goddamn machine when it came to reading them.

He had to do something with Eliza. To make them believe.

“You’re firing up the grill?” Marsha asked. “I just knew you would.”

His mother appeared out of thin air.

A chorus of mommies filled the air. The kids moving out of the pool, running to their mothers.

Preston watched, feeling a little empty inside. One day, he wanted kids. A whole fleet of them. Kids hadn’t been in his future, not while he had a career to build up. A name to make for himself.

Eliza came through the door, carrying two giant grocery bags.

Roger took one, as did Kian, leaving her free and clear.

He walked toward her. Those lips called to him, and he didn’t care if this broke their kissing rule, or if it pissed her off.

Sinking his fingers into her hair, he pulled her in close against him. Not caring there were children present, he finally kissed Eliza like he’d been dreaming of since that damn elevator.

He stole the kiss he’d wanted to take all of those months ago.

Her lips were soft like he imagined.

At first, Eliza was tense in his arms, her body too stiff to enjoy. One taste wasn’t enough. He traced his tongue across her bottom lip and heard her gasp, opening her mouth, and he took full advantage, plunging his tongue inside.

Eliza gripped his shirt. She didn’t push him away, and he felt that was an achievement all on its own. Deepening the kiss, he heard her gasp, her moan.

Someone cleared their throat.

Coming back to the present, he kissed her on the lips one more time. “I missed you,” he said.

“I noticed.” Her lips were swollen.

He wrapped his arm around her waist, pulling her against his side. “She hasn’t been away from me in nearly three years.”

Preston was also terrified of what his parents would say to her.

To Capture A Thorn

Blurb

I know pain and loss, what it means to be lied to.

I have nothing. No one. I’m all alone. They took everything from me and want to take more. I did everything Gideon, Dante, William, and Mateo asked of me, and they failed.

The Society believes I can leave. They give me the chance that was taken from me, but I won’t give up. I will have justice for the ones I lost, which means I have to stay. I have to become part of The Society. I must give them everything in order to get what I want.

I wish I could blame the Saintly Devils. They turned my life upside down, but after I lost everything, they’re the ones who come to my rescue, making it so hard for me to walk away.

But this was never about me, this was about them, and all I can do is hope to be there to save them when the time comes.

No one betrays The Society. They are always watching and always prepared…

Excerpt:

Sian had gotten under my skin and now there was no way to reach her. Every time she looked at me, I felt her judging me.

It didn’t fucking stop.

I kept expecting her to come right out and say it: You killed my best friend.

I took a deep breath and swigged my scotch. This was my fourth glass.

My father grabbed the glass out of my hand. “That is your limit.”

“Why do I have to have limits?” I asked.

“Do you think this is helping you to make the right decisions? It’s not. It’s messing with your head. You’re my son, buck the fuck up.”

“It’s easy for you to say. You’ve been living with your fuck-up for nineteen years.” I burst out laughing.

Other than my laughter, the silence in the room was somewhat deafening.

“Dude, not cool,” William said.

“What? Don’t you see history has a way of repeating itself? It looks like we’re the prime candidates.” I bent over, hand to stomach as I laughed. “I’m starting to think this is what The Society does. Picks out a girl that you rarely look at. You notice her but you don’t give her two thoughts, and then bam, you have no choice but to fuck her. She’s all part of the initiation process, and then once you’ve fallen for her, you’re going to do something that tears her from you. Break her a little bit so the person you once knew is a shell of who she was, and there is nothing you can do, even though you miss her. You had a small smidge of heaven with her, and then it is ripped from you. Is this what The Society does? Does it fuck with you like that?” I asked. My voice had gone from talking normally to yelling. “I don’t give a fuck if it makes me a man or not, but yeah, I fell for Sian. I fell for her hard.”

I hadn’t said the words because I just couldn’t. The moment I did, I felt like it was solidifying my pain and my future. I’d never be able to have Sian, nor would she belong to us.

I guessed I was well and truly fucked up. Most men couldn’t stand their woman being touched by another man, but I wanted to share her with my friends. Dante, William, and Mateo were the only ones I trusted with her.

“We all did,” William said.

In the last ten months, he’d lost all parts of his playfulness. Gone was the jokester. He was serious all the fucking time. I hated this.

“How did you let him get away with this?” I asked, turning toward my dad. “How could you not see what he was like?”

“None of us did, and we were given rules,” he said.

“Fuck the rules. Haven’t you seen how the rules play out? Joan is gone. He’s got her, and from what Sian tells us, he’s been hurting them for years.”

“Son, I suggest you step outside and take some air before I forget you’re my son.”

This made me laugh. “Your son I may be, but it’s with the wrong woman, right? Kind of a shock that you’ve got four daughters as well.”

The hit was expected. I wanted it. The blow to the face made it easier. The pain was a new focal point. I could think a little more clearly. I expected my dad to hit me again, but Harrison had stepped in and held him back.

Dante helped me to my feet, and within seconds, I was out in the garden. Blood came from my mouth, and I spat it on the ground.

“Get the fuck off me.” I shoved Dante off.

“So this is how it’s going to be? Are you trying to fuck everything up?” Dante asked.

“Why are we even talking with them?” I asked, whirling around. William and Mateo had joined us outside.

None of my friends looked happy. “What? You got shit you want to say to me?”

“This isn’t about you,” William said.

“I didn’t say it was.”

“You’re hurting,” Mateo said.

“Fuck you.” I wanted them to hit me. The pain my dad had inflicted had been a welcome relief. I stared at each of my friends. “None of you felt her. The tightness of her pussy, how it popped under my stiff cock.”

Dante sighed. “And here comes the prick. It’s always about you, isn’t it, Gideon?”

“In case you didn’t see, I’m the leader of the pack.”

I saw their hands clench into fists, but none of them attacked me.

Fucking bastards.

They knew me well and were refusing to give me what I wanted.

“None of you will know how good it felt for her to come for me,” I said.

Dante ran a hand down his face. “Go on. If this is what you want. Keep on saying the words that are going to guarantee our friendship is over. We’ll still be tightly bound together, but with a little help, maybe you can fuck it up completely.”

It was on the tip of my tongue to say more, but I just couldn’t. I had to hold back. Did I want to lose them as friends? They were my brothers. I loved them and would die for them.

Silence rang out loud and clear.

After falling to the ground, I drew my knees up against my chest with a sigh.

“I miss her,” I said. “There’s nothing I can do to bring her back, and that’s all I want to do.”

A Rose To Keep

Part 1

The Society

Blurb

Senior year, the four Saintly Devils will present a rose to their selected. One girl who will belong to them. It sounds so far-fetched, and I’ve never believed in rumors—until they give me the rose.

Gideon, Dante, William, and Mateo. Four of the sexiest, wealthiest, and most popular guys in the whole school.

For the first time in history, a girl turns them down. That’s me. I crumble up that rose and hand it right back to them.

Only, there’s so much more at stake than belonging to these four guys. There’s no way I could have known this was set in motion long before I even knew about them.

When my choices are taken out of my hands, I have to find some way to control my life. I’m not going to be a doormat for guys I don’t like, these four who don’t know me.

But I should have known better. They don’t want me. They’re following orders. I’m part of a contract, an initiation to something far scarier. Something called The Society.

I’ve got no choice but to submit to the four Saintly Devils, to become theirs.

They promised to protect me and those I hold dear.

They lied.

Excerpt:

The light in front of the library turned off, and I watched as Sian left the building. She still wore the standard school uniform, only she conformed to the original design of the pencil skirt being below the knee. Others wore mini-skirts, trying to show off their legs, and in most instances, their panties, if they were even wearing them.

Her shirt was untucked and her long brown hair was down. I didn’t recall ever seeing her hair down. She always wore it up in a ponytail.

She hadn’t seen me and started the small walk back to where her dorm was. I closed the distance between us.

“Hey, Sian, wait up,” I said.

She glanced over her shoulder and released a groan. “Are you stalking me now?”

“No,” I said. The lie spilled easily from my lips.

“I don’t believe you.”

“What? A guy couldn’t be running here?” I had changed into my running gear.

“Mateo, you never run. You refuse to run.”

Busted. I preferred to lift weights or save my energy for the field playing ball. Any other time was pointless for running.

I stepped in front of her, stopping her from moving. She glanced around, and I saw the way she shifted the strap of her bag on her shoulder. I made her nervous.

“What do you want?” she asked.

“Can’t a guy be … walking and curious about a girl?”

“No,” she said. “Not when it comes to you or your friends or that damn flower you decided to give me.” She took a small step toward me. I guessed she assumed I’d budge. Not a chance. I wasn’t moving. There was no other place I wanted to be than right in front of her. “Please, move.”

I liked her saying please. One day soon she’d be begging me to taste her sweet cunt. Until then, I was going to have to wait.

“Tell me why,” I said.

“Why what?”

“Why you turned us down. You do realize four of the most eligible guys gave you an opportunity of a lifetime.”

She snorted. “An opportunity of a lifetime? Yeah, I guess being four guys’ bitch is just a wonderful thing. We’re done here.”

“You know we could have anyone. We chose you.”

“Then go and chose one of those girls who would find this whole experience thrilling. To be honest, I’m kind of finding this creepy.” She stood her ground.

With the tilt of her head, the uniform seemed to mold to every single one of her curves, and don’t even get me started on her mass of hair. So full and thick. Damn, I was already having visions of her spread out on my bed, me grabbing fistfuls of her hair, fucking her hard.

I bet she was a virgin.

In fact, I knew she was. Her virginity is going to be a sticky subject. Pun not intended. Which one of us would break her in?

I bet Gideon would be the one, but there was a chance she’d be scarred for life.

How did I not notice this girl before? I had noticed her, but it was more like a quick assessment. At first glance, I gave her a seven, maybe. Now as I looked at her, I know she’d rank higher.

Damn, blue balls was messing with my head.

I’d opted to not sleep with anyone else since claiming Sian was so important to all of us.

“You’re kind of freaking me out now. Can I go?” she asked.

“There’s no changing your mind?”

“I don’t even understand why you want me to change my mind. Mateo, in the years that I’ve been here, we’ve never spoken to one another. I think the most we’ve ever said is when you’re throwing insults in my direction. That’s it.”

“I’ve never insulted you.”

“Think really long and hard. Believe me, you’re going to find something that says otherwise.” She pressed her palm against her forehead. “Please, move out of my way.”

“For a kiss.”

“You’re out of your mind. Hell, no.”

“I’m not moving. One kiss is all it is going to take.”

“You do realize this is verging on sexual harassment.”

Hi Everyone,

We’re into October, which means I’m super excited because I just love Halloween. This always makes me laugh as I actually can’t stand horror movies. 🙂 Strange, huh? 😉

September has been a super quick month. I want to say a big thank you to everyone who has reached out to me, and for all of your wonderful support through the release of Second Best. This book broke me and to know you guys went through the same emotions, it means the world to me, as a job well done.

I’ve asked this in my Facebook group, but are you loving the more emotional, longer stories? At the moment that is the direction my muse is going. However, I can confirm that Evernight Publishing has accepted a brand new full length book from me that was a lot more light hearted, and possible romcom, but I’m not exactly sure which genre it would fall. I know I had a lot of enjoyment writing it, and look out for The Fake Engagement for more information on the coming soon page.

We’re nearing the end of 2021 and I have to wonder, what books would you like to read from me? Has there been a trope I’ve not tried? Please, let me know. 🙂

Thank you all so much for your lovely emails, comments, and messages, they mean a lot to me.

Second Best

Volkov Bratva 1

Blurb

I’m not beautiful or skinny.
I’m hated.
Always second best.

I was given to Slavik Ivanov, a deadly, fearsome man in the Volkov Bratva. Married into the world of the Bratva, I have to learn to survive. My husband doesn’t pay me attention, but the longer he ignores me, the longer I’ll live.

Trouble is brewing in the Volkov Bratva. It’s dangerous, and I know it’s only a matter of time before I’m killed because I’m the stranger. The enemy.

Slavik doesn’t love me. I’m nothing more than a duty to him. I’m an obligation, but when he finally notices me, his touches set me on fire.

Does he know I’m loyal to him? Or will he believe the orchestrated lies and finally get rid of the wife he never wanted?

My life is in his hands, and I fear I will never be the same again.

Be Warned: anal sex

Excerpt:

I was already heading toward the pool. In the elevator, I rubbed at my temple. I hadn’t slept in two days so far. Sleep rarely came to me. I had no trust in anyone around me, and right now between Cara’s problem, and now the Italian one, there was no way I was going to relax.

You were killed if you let down your guard, and that was the last thing I was going to do.

The elevator went down to the level with the gym and the pool. I saw the sign posted, stating the pool was closed for the time being.

As I entered, I caught sight of my wife wearing a one-piece swimsuit. She had her arms crossed over the edge of the pool, and Sergei, as far as I was concerned, looked a little too cozy with my wife, which pissed me off.

We’d been married a little over five months, and as I watched them, I didn’t like how close they seemed. Anger worked up my body as I stepped into view. The moment I did, the smile on Aurora’s lips fell and Sergei stood.

He bowed his head to me. “Sir.”

“You can leave,” I said.

He nodded. Without another look at my wife, he left the room. Alone with my wife, I saw Aurora move back into the water. We looked at each other.

She wasn’t a stunning beauty, but there was a beauty there. I’d had my fair share of fake beauty. There was something about Aurora that called to me.

“I didn’t know you were coming home,” she said.

“You never do.”

Again, small talk wasn’t my strong suit.

“It would be wise of you not to flirt with my men.”

This had her frowning. “I wasn’t flirting.”

“You think I didn’t see what you were doing?”

She looked to where Sergei had left. “We were just talking. Not everything between a man and a woman has to be about … sex.”

My cock twitched. I hadn’t gotten the pleasure of enjoying my wife. She’d moved toward the edge of the pool, and as she grabbed the side, I watched as she pulled herself out. I admired the curves of her body. The fullness of her ass. She grabbed a towel.

“If you continue to flirt with Sergei and give him the wrong message, I will kill him.”

She glared at him. “I wasn’t flirting with him. He’s my … friend.”

This made me laugh. I couldn’t help it. Sergei wasn’t a friend. None of my men were her friends, and if given the order, they would turn on her at a moment’s notice.

What I didn’t expect was the slap to the face. I captured her hand and pulled her against me. She began to wriggle, and with how close her body was, I had no problem with it. Not that I’d force her. Rape wasn’t something I wanted to ever experience.

Staring into her eyes, I restrained her, making her pause with a single hand on her ass. I gripped her tightly, and tears filled her eyes.

“Don’t ever fucking do that again.”

“Why?”

“I don’t like being hit. I tend to hit back.”

“Then don’t accuse me of doing something I never did. I don’t flirt. I wouldn’t even know how.”

“My men know the rules. You’re a job to them, nothing more.”

She wore a good mask, but I saw my words had struck her hard. “You think I don’t know that? It’s all I do know. I’m a job. It’s why I don’t flirt. Now let me go, or is there something else you want from me?”

Her lips looked really tempting, but my anger was not in a good place. I released her, and without a backward glance, she left. The curves of her ass just begged for me to call her back and show her what real sex was all about. The two times I’d fucked her hadn’t been real. It had been mechanical, a necessity and then a release. I wanted her again, but not tonight. I never allowed my hormones to take charge. I was the one who held control over myself, no one else.

Beast’s Demands

Blurb

I’m a no one, the daughter of a mistress. My life was spared to keep my best friend Emily safe. Now she’s back with her men, and I’ve been taken by Earl Valentine—the Beast.

The Monsters’ Crew sold me to him, and all he wants is my virginity. I’d die for Emily, so giving my body to this man is easy. But Earl’s not in any kind of rush. He wants to make me beg, to shatter all my defenses so all I can think about is him. No matter how hard I fight, I’m not trained to hate. With each touch, he makes me crave. With every kiss, I fall a little deeper. Under his spell, I have no power.

He wants me enough to fight for me. I may have fallen for the Beast, but he’s also mine. I just don’t realize how much.

Can I truly tame the Beast? Or is he acting the part to get me where he wants?

Excerpt

Weird.

I was about to turn toward him when something caught my attention out of the corner of my eye.

“Is that … my notebook?” In fact, as I looked closely at the room, I noticed several of my things. On the vanity table were my makeup box and the clips I used to pull my hair back. Without waiting for permission, I went straight to my notebook, and there it was. My food notes. I didn’t keep a journal. Talking about my feelings on the pages never appealed, but here, I had everything I’d ever cooked. Well, just a volume of part of what I’d been doing with my life. “How did you get this?”

“The same way I got you. Easily. I emptied yours and Emily’s apartment.”

“All of my stuff is here?”

“Some of your stuff is here. The rest I’ve had sent to one of my residences.”

I looked at him, rubbing the back of my neck. “Your home?”

“I have several all around the world. My mood depends on where I go as to what I do.”

I licked my lips. “You’re not just going to be done with me in a couple of days?”

Earl moved across the bedroom and picked up a picture frame. It was one of Emily and me, taken a few months ago. In a rare circumstance where I got Emily to smile. It had been hard to do, but she’d tried for me. “You two are really close?”

“Of course.”

“One day, you’ll get to talk to her.”

“I will?”

“I’m not a complete beast.”

“You never refer to yourself as a monster,” I said.

“That title is claimed, and I’m nothing like the Crude Hill lot.”

“You make them sound like children.”

“They are.”

“It’s rather insulting, don’t you think?”

“I’m not here to win any games with them. I’m not looking for a competition. Do you like your new room?”

“This is your room?”

“Yes.” He leaned back on his hands.

My gaze fell to his crotch, to the obvious outline of his erection. He was hard and looking right at me.

“It’s nice.” I opened my book, seeing a cross through fennel. I was making some soup, and I clearly didn’t like the addition of the vegetable. Beside it, I’d put seed, and again, this was crossed out.

“Put the book down and come here.”

I looked up at him and found that he was still watching me. Slowly, I put the book down, but I didn’t want to do that. I knew I didn’t. With each step I took, I got closer to him until I stood right in front of him.

He took my hand and locked our fingers together. “You did really good today.”

“Thank you.”

“Always so polite.”

He lifted my hand and pressed a kiss to my knuckles. I watched him close his eyes and then let go of me. The tips of his fingers brushed across my thigh, teasing along the edge of my dress.

His touch should have repulsed me.

It didn’t.

I didn’t understand why it doesn’t.

Staring at him, I waited for the chills, the sick revulsion, but nothing came.

“Sit. Put your knees on either side of me.”

“What?”

He sat back on the bed and tugged me close. I had no choice but to put my knee on either side of his waist, moving onto the bed. The angle put my pussy directly over his dick. I didn’t sit down, but his hands went to the curve of my ass as he moved me into place.

The hard length of his cock touched me. He was still wearing pants, and I wore my underwear, but I felt him. Pure steel. I gripped his shoulders, trying to hold on. I was far from sickened. I liked it.

Staring into his green eyes, I waited for him to strike, to make me do something I really didn’t want to do.

His hands went back to my ass, and he held me in place.

“You know, all day, there was something I’ve been wanting to do to you. Do you know what that is?”

“Fuck me?” The words spilled from my lips before I could stop them.

He chuckled. “I want to do that. It’s a given, but no.” He pressed his face against my neck and I gasped. He hadn’t even kissed me yet. Just the tip of his nose brushing across my flesh. This shouldn’t feel so good.

I was a horrible friend. The worst kind of person.

“I’ve wanted to kiss you from the moment I saw you this morning.”

I jerked back, but I didn’t get far as his hands were on my ass. “You do?”

“Yeah, I do.”

Smokey wants the curvy blonde sitting alone at the bar, and he always gets what he wants. From the start, he explains it’s just sex, nothing else. Ava doesn’t expect more and promises herself she won’t fall in love with the bad biker, but Smokey gets under her skin. He can’t let her go, and now he thinks she works for his enemy. The pain of his punishment will stay with her forever.

When the truth comes out, Smokey knows he’s hurt the only woman he’s ever cared about. After he loses her, he has no choice but to win her back. Ava won’t give in, though. He hurt her, shattered her trust, and destroyed her heart.

How can he win what he broke?

Excerpt

The information he’d gotten on Ava’s husband had given him enough details to know the man was a bastard. A fucking piece of scum of the highest order. What pieces of paper didn’t give him were actual accounts of what the asshole had done to Ava. The abuse she’d taken at her ex’s hands. It sickened him. No, it infuriated him. He wanted to kill the fucker, slowly and painfully. He was good at torturing. In the last few years, he’d become a master at it. Hearing men scream was something he relished.

He pushed all those thoughts aside because he didn’t want to be thinking about them while he had his woman so close to him.

Stroking her cheek, he pushed her hair back. The hold he had on her waist moved down to cup her generous ass. He let the cheek go and slapped it.

“Now do you want to know how a real man treats a woman?” he asked.

“Yes.”

He lifted her in his arms. She let out a squeal. Her arms circled his neck and he chuckled. He didn’t go far. After shoving all the papers he’d been working on to the floor, he dropped her butt down on his desk and spread her legs wide. He stepped between them. “I’m willing to offer you a deal, Ava,” he said.

“What?”

“I’ll show you how it is between a man and woman, and in return, you give yourself to me. Completely. You’re not allowed to be with anyone else. You’re all mine to do with as I please,” he said.

“You won’t hurt me?”

“I have no reason to hurt you, do I?”

She licked her lips and nodded. “I agree.”

He put his hand on her chest, pushing her down on the desk. “Hold on.”

She tried to grab the desk, and he sat down in his chair. He took her feet, placing them on his knees.

Touching her ankles, he traced up her calves, hearing her gasp. The fucker hadn’t even taken the time to touch Ava. She was deprived of so much, but he had no problem with that because he was going to make up for it.

He stroked up to her knee, then down again, taking his time before he went to her knee. This time, he used his mouth, kissing inside her knee and trailing his lips up toward her core.

Smokey slid his hands beneath her ass and dragged her back against him. He pressed his face against her pussy, sliding his tongue through her slit. Ava cried out, arching her back.

She begged and moaned for more as he flicked his tongue across her clit. Back and forth, working her pussy until she shook beneath his hold.

He let go of her ass and took the lips of her pussy in his hands, spreading her wide with one hand, and with the other, he pressed a single finger inside. She was so tight but soaking wet.

In and out, he worked a single digit, then added a second.

She thrust her pelvis up, trying to get him to take more.

He pumped inside her, wanting it to be his cock, but for now, he was going to show her the kind of pleasure that could be had with just his fingers and mouth.

Smokey took her clit into his mouth, sucking on the bud, driving her wild as he finger-fucked her pussy. Her cunt tightened around his fingers, and he turned, pressing against her G-spot, stroking her there, setting a fire that had her wild.

This time, he didn’t stop.

There was so much for Ava to learn, and he was more than happy to be the one to teach her. She’d already given herself to him. He wasn’t going to back out. What he did plan was for Ava to enjoy the pleasure of his cock, repeatedly, multiple times a day.

She came on his tongue. Her release coated his fingers as he worked her pussy. She shook, and she was so wet some of her orgasm spilled onto his desk.

When it seemed she couldn’t take it anymore, she lifted up on his desk and cupped his face, kissing him.

He eased his fingers from her pussy, placing them on her thigh as he stood up. Breaking the kiss, he tilted her head back and pressed his fingers to her mouth. “Open.”

She did so and he slid them into her mouth.

“Taste yourself. You’ve got the most delicious pussy I’ve ever eaten.”

She sucked her cream off his fingers, and he gripped a fistful of her hair, keeping her head at the right angle to kiss her hard. He gave her a kiss she deserved. One that told her she was a fucking sexy piece of ass that deserved to be fucked, to be taken.

She gripped his hips, tugging him close.

“We have an oral contract, Ava. There’s no backing down. You’re a businesswoman. You know the terms.”

“We didn’t iron out the terms.”

He chuckled. “You, me, sex. It’s an open-ended topic. Nothing is off-limits. The only thing I can’t do is hurt you.” He kissed the tip of her nose. “And I have no intention of doing so.”

Excerpt:

“Are we playing here? Who is playing?”

He smiled. “You and me. No one else, right fucking here.” He pointed at the ground.

She lowered herself into a sitting position, crossing her legs. He wondered if she and Sean had anything special going on tonight. She wasn’t dressed to impress. She was never dressed for anyone but herself and he liked that. It was probably the only thing he did like about her.

“This is a game for twelve-year-old kids, Drake. You can’t come up with anything else?”

He sat opposite her, ignoring all the bullshit coming out of her mouth. Drake didn’t care about anyone else, just her, and being right here in this moment. “You scared, Trash?”

“I’m not afraid of you, Drake. You know that. This isn’t the first time we’ve been doing this together and it won’t be the last.” She stared at him. “How does this go?”

“Simple. Truth or dare?”

She rolled her eyes. “Fine. Er, Truth.” She held onto her knees, staring at him.

“You ever fucked anyone, Trash?” he asked.

“No.”

“You’re still a virgin.”

“My turn. Truth or dare?” she asked.

“I’ll go dare.”

“Kiss your own ass,” she said.

The crowd erupted into laughter. He did no more than kiss the tip of his fingers and place them against his butt. “Done. Truth or dare?”

“Truth.”

“You’re not going to go with a dare?”

“Drake, just ask me a question so I can get out of this,” she said.

“You ever sucked a guy’s cock?”

“Wow, okay, this is just fucking ridiculous. No, I’ve never fucked anyone. No, I’ve never messed around with anyone. Yes, I’m a virgin. Are we done now? Can I go?” she asked.

“Not yet.”

“Truth or dare?” she asked again.

“Truth.”

“Why do you hate me so much?” she asked.

This took him by surprise and he remained silent, very much aware of everyone watching them. He couldn’t stand to have their attention and he certainly didn’t want it.

“Well! Are you not going to answer me, hotshot?”

“I never said I did,” he said.

“Oh, come on, you totally fucking hate me!”

“Does that bother you? Thinking I hate you?”

She glared at him and he loved the challenge in her eyes. “No, it doesn’t.”

“Then why waste a question?”

“What I don’t get is if you don’t hate me, why oh, why, do you treat me like shit?” she asked.

“’Cause trash is always treated the way it’s supposed to be.” There was a loud chorus of whoops around the room. “Truth or dare?”

“Dare.”

Now they were getting somewhere.

He didn’t want to scare her off too soon.

“Drink a shot. Someone grab her a shot.”

“That’s it. One shot?”

“Why not?”

He was handed a shot, which he immediately gave to her, waiting for her to drink it. The booze at his parties were always the good stuff, and he watched as she knocked it back, trying not to cough as it burned the back of her throat.

“That’s right, that’s the good stuff.”

She handed him the glass while shaking her head at the same time. “That’s horrible.” She covered her mouth to cough. “Truth or dare?”

“Dare.”

“Ugh.” She looked around the room and then he saw the wicked smile that played across her lips. “Kiss Ree,” she said.

“That’s it? You’re going to waste your dare on a silly kiss with your friend?”

“What’s the matter, Drake? Chicken?” she asked.

Excerpt:

“I don’t know. I’m … trying to imagine you with someone else, and I can’t help but get jealous.”

“Stop imagining me with another woman.”

She laughed. “Good point.”

“See yourself with another man,” he said, going back to her pussy. “How about Easton?”

“You want me to imagine you and Easton, together?”

“You saw him last night. It’s not hard to picture him.”

“But he’s the father of my child, and you only met him last night.”

“And this morning. I’m still waiting for the call.”

She shook her head. “It’s weird.”

“Is it weird because you still have feelings for him. Or you’re jealous? Or, you don’t like him anymore or find him attractive?” he asked.

“I honestly don’t know,” she said.

“Do you hate him?”

“A little bit. He broke my heart, Liam, but at the same time, seeing him again, it’s like the past doesn’t matter. I think it should, but I can’t hate him. He’s not the guy who hurt me.”

She sounded so sad. His grip on the razor tightened. Hearing that slight catch in her voice was too much. He couldn’t allow anyone to hurt her.

“He seems like a nice guy. You know him better than I do. I only know the facts that I’ve got on him.”

She laughed. “I don’t want him to be hurt or put in any kind of danger. What happened between us was in the past, and I’m not going to keep bringing it up. Talking about him being shared is off limits. I don’t think I can handle that.”

“Scarlett, you’re a strong woman. You can handle anything and everything.”

He finished shaving her pussy. Running his fingers over her, it felt so smooth. “Your turn.” He handed her the razor. She left the stool, and he took a seat, letting her do with his cock whatever she wanted to. “I’m now at your mercy.”

“I can’t believe you’re trusting me with this.” She stood, and he watched her pressing her thighs together.

“Does it feel weird?” he asked.

“Yes. You know it would, didn’t you?”

“Yes. You’ll get used to it.”

“I don’t think that’s possible. This is strange.” She shook her head and sank down to the floor.

“Now, this is a pretty position for you.” He stroked her head.

“Are you sure you’re not into Dominant stuff? BDSM, and you know, the other stuff?”

“I’m not, but I can appreciate certain positions for fun. Like this one, I like it a lot.”

She rolled her eyes.

“If I was a Dom, that would have earned you a spanking.”

She giggled. “Would you like to spank my ass, Sir?”

“I’d love to do more than spank your ass.” He pulled her onto his lap, sinking his fingers in her hair, and grabbing her ass. “One day, I’m going to fuck it.”

“You really do know how to talk dirty.”

“You’ve not seen anything yet of what I’m capable of.” He kissed her hard, nipping at her lips.

“Will I be able to handle all of you?”

Liam stroked her ass cheek. “I think you’ll be surprised at just how well you can handle me.”

****

Easton knocked on the door and Liam was there, opening the door.

“You know for a successful businessman, where’s your butler?”

“I like my privacy, and when you’ve got money, people like to sell you out. I don’t trust anyone. Besides, it’s rare I have to open the door. It makes me feel human.” He stepped away from the door, and Easton walked over the threshold.

“Where’s Scarlett and Junior?” he asked.

“In the dining room, working on his homework. Do you want to go on the tour now, or later?”

Homework.

“I’ll take the tour now.” It would give him time to settle his nerves. This was really happening.

Liam took the bag from him.

“I can handle that.”

“Don’t worry about it. I can deal with it. Let’s go.” Liam went straight for the stairs.

“You don’t have anywhere else to show me downstairs?” Easton asked.

“Yeah, but we can put your bag away and do the tour upstairs, then down, and you don’t have to worry about where you’re sleeping.”

They walked up two flights of stairs to get to the second floor.

“At the far end of the hall is Junior’s room. I’ll let you have a look. He’s always liked his own space, and he likes to invent things.” Liam opened the door.

Junior’s room, his son’s space was separated into two parts. One half was a bed and a normal, neat-looking bedroom. The other looked like a laboratory or science geek’s headquarters.

“I don’t suppose he’s good at computers?” Easton asked.

“He is, and it’s how he watched some of the rather unflattering videos which turned him vegan. It scared Scarlett, but I’ve put more security in, and well, I warned Junior if he tried to get past my firewalls and passwords. He’s a great kid. Scarlett is a great mom.”

“You didn’t know her at all when she gave birth?”

“No.”

“What about her family?”

Liam hesitated, and Easton waited.

“Look, I don’t know how much she wants you to know, but she had it rough. Her parents threw her out for being pregnant. A lot of vile words were thrown her way; slut, trash, bastard. She left with nothing, and she survived. She waited tables while she was pregnant. I paid her medical bills. They were ruining her when I met her, but she had also been beat up pretty bad.”

“What?” Easton asked.

“There is a lot you don’t know about her. She’s a fighter, but she needed help. It’s hard for her to accept it.”

“Do you love her?” Easton asked.

“More than anything.”

“You’re older than her.” He didn’t know why he was even bothering to bring it up. A little over ten years wasn’t old at all.

Liam laughed, folding his arms. “Are you jealous of me, Easton? You think you can come in my house and take my woman?”

Easton didn’t cower or back down. “I want to make sure Scar is happy.”

“She is. Remember you’re here because of me, not her. If I think for a second you’re crossing the line, I will end you. I take looking after my family seriously. I’m inviting you to be part of it, not destroy it.”

Easton held his hands up in surrender. The truth was, he wanted to punch Liam in his smug bastard face. This man had everything Easton ever wanted, without all the fucked-up shit in his life. For the past couple of days, he’d been trying to figure out what Liam’s deal was. What did he want from him?

All of his life, people had an agenda, something from him. What was Liam’s?

“I just want to make this work,” Easton said. He would pick his fight with Liam when the time was right. He wasn’t strong enough.
