New Release: Falling for the Bully

Falling for the Bully

Max Carter was an asshole as a teenager. He did stupid things, and one of them was hurting Aria Smith. As a grown man, he has to own up to his mistakes, and now he has to prove to her he’s changed. When he discovers she’s going on a date with some stranger, jealousy fills him.

Aria’s first mistake was getting drunk. Her second one was not deleting her internet history. Her third mistake? Agreeing to use Max for all her sexy desires. He’s an asshole, one she’s been determined to avoid. But it’s the little things, like how he walks her to work and back home every single day. How can she say no?

They were only supposed to be a bit of fun, and their friends were never supposed to find out. However, they can’t hide their feelings for one another, or at least Max can’t. For him, it’s not about fucking—he’s in love with her. Only now, he’s got to make her fall for him, too.

This single man is ready to settle down and become a husband and a father, but will his woman give him the time of day?

This is the concluding installment of the Falling in Love series.

Excerpt:

“So you’re just going to give up. You’re not going to explore other options?” he asked.

“I have no other options. It’s fine.” She didn’t look at him.

“How horny are you right now?”

“None of your business.”

“I bet you’re wet. There was a lot of hardcore stuff. Spanking, rock hard fucking. I was shocked by the kind of stuff you watched. I mean, you’re sweet and lovely, but I guess what they say is true. It’s the quiet ones you’ve got to watch out for.”

“Get out.”

Max held up his hands. “I’m not judging you.”

“Then why are you here?”

“Because I want to offer you my services.”

“Are you, like, an escort or something? Is that what you do in your free time?”

He laughed. “No, I don’t prostitute myself at all.”

She pressed her hand to her face and groaned. “Are you talking in riddles here? I don’t want someone to have sex with. I want a partner. Someone who means something to me. Not somebody paid to do the pleasure.” She couldn’t even believe she was having this conversation with him.

What she hated even more right now was how tempted she was to be with him. Max wasn’t the guy for her. They had nothing in common, and yet, she couldn’t help but wonder if using him like this, wouldn’t be worth it?

The two of them together, they were toxic, but she had no intention of having a long-lasting relationship with him. Far from it.

She wanted something special with a guy she could trust, but that wasn’t going to happen through a dating website or with any kind of matchmaking thing. She had to find a guy for herself.

Max took a step toward her.

In high school, she had hated him. She still hated him, but what he offered tempted her.

“You know I’m not used to offering this for anyone. I take girls, fuck them, and forget them.”

“Then leave.”

“Tell me you’re not tempted.”

Again, she wished she could argue with him. That she didn’t feel this overwhelming need to tell the truth.

Max smiled. “You see, you are tempted.”

“So what? We have sex and then go about our business as if nothing ever happened? Is that what you’re offering?” she asked.

Max stepped right up close to her. His body was so close to hers, she could smell his cologne. “I’m offering you the chance to work out every single dirty thought you’ve had with me. Nothing is off limits. You give yourself to me, and I’ll give you what your little pussy has been demanding.”

“What happened to the nice guy? The one that felt guilty.”

“He’ll never disappear, Aria. He’s right here. I can make it up to you.”

“I don’t want or need pity. Not from you. Not from anyone.”

“I’m not giving you pity. Not even a little bit. I’m giving you an option you’ve always denied yourself.” His hand cupped her hip, and she bit her lip, trying to contain the moan that one touch created inside her.

Pretty Covers

Hi Everyone,

First, I want to say a big thank you to all those that took a chance on Twisted in Chains. The feedback has been incredible and to know you enjoyed the story, means the world to me. It was dark, twisted, and completely different from my other books, but a story I really needed to write.

Moving on, I’ve got a couple of brand new releases and their covers are just amazing.

Be Warned: this is a dark book with many triggers

Excerpt:

“What happened?”

“You don’t remember?”

“I … something hit me hard, I think. Ugh, I can’t think right now. It’s too much.”

“You’ll be fine.”

“No, I don’t feel fine. What is going on?” She pressed her hands to her face, and still nothing became clear.

“Do you know your name?” he asked.

“Yes.”

“What is it?”

“Why are you asking me so many questions?” She didn’t want to think right now, or focus, or do anything.

Kidnapped.

This was what happened in movies to really popular girls that were nothing like her.

“I need to know you’re okay.”

She licked her dry lips, staring at him. “Skye. My name’s Skye Carver.”

“How old are you?”

“Eighteen.”

“Who am I?” he asked.

“No, I know who you are. You tell me.”

“Noah King. I’m eighteen years old, star of the football team, and you’re my tutor. I’ve been flunking in English and science, all of them. You’ve been helping me. What is the last thing you remember?”

“I don’t know.”

“Please, Skye. We need to keep our heads right now. I need to know everything, and so do you. We were both hit pretty bad.”

“Okay, fine. I remember the day at school. Derek stole my soda and ran around the cafeteria. You asked me to meet you out by the brook.” She paused. “Why did I have to meet you out by the brook?”

“I wanted to talk to you about the studying.”

“Yeah, you wanted to quit and have me do all of your assignments. We got into an argument—”

“And woke up here,” Noah said.

“That’s it. That’s all I remember.”

“Me too. I woke up a few minutes before you.” He held up his cuffed wrist. “You’re on the bed, no cuffs, nothing. I’ve been nominated to be chained to a wall.”

She crawled off the bed and headed toward him, determined to get to him.

Her body wouldn’t work the way she wanted it to, and she had no choice but to grit her teeth to keep on going, to keep on trying.

“Drugs,” Noah said. “Clearly to keep us sedated as long as possible.”

She got to where he sat and touched the cuffs, following the link to the wall. There were bolts on the wall. She gripped the metal chain, putting her feet to the wall and starting to pull.

As she let out a cry, the metal dug into her hands, and she released a sob.

“It’s fine. Don’t hurt yourself.” Noah captured her hands, holding them in his. “Don’t do anything stupid.”

“Stupid? Noah, look around. We’ve been kidnapped. We’re somewhere in the middle of nowhere. I’m trying not to freak out right now and totally failing.” She sniffled. “I’m scared.”

“I know.” He gripped the back of her neck, pulling her in close. The small movement made pain explode behind her eyes, but she didn’t tell him to stop. “We’ll get out of here. I promise.”

“We don’t even know where here is.” She lifted her head up and glanced around the room. A single light lay in the high ceiling. No window in sight and only one door. The room had one bed, a toilet, and that was all. Not even a sink.

“It’s got to be out in the sticks somewhere.”

“Noah, we don’t even know how long we were out. For all we know we could be in a foreign country or something.” She rubbed at her temples. Getting to her feet, she touched the wall.

“What are you doing?”

“I don’t know.” She moved to the door and tried the handle. “Hey! This isn’t funny. We’re just kids. Let us out.” She slammed her hand against the door, wanting to leave, to be free.

“Don’t do that, Skye. I mean it. Don’t.”

“I just want to go home. I want to go back to where everything was normal.”

She heard movement behind the door, and she jumped back in time before the metal door hit her in the face.

With the sudden rush avoiding the door, she caught herself off balance and fell on her ass.

Scrambling back from whoever it was, she went to Noah. Looking up, she saw three men.

Hey everyone,

How are you loving April so far? I love it. Don’t get me wrong, I love the Autumn and Winter, but Spring is nice. 🙂

So, who doesn’t mind straying to the dark side? With Twisted in Chains I didn’t just step in with my tiptoes, I dived right in. Now, I love Noah and Skye’s story. This book completely tore me apart and once I started writing, I just couldn’t stop. If you do give this a chance (I’m warning you it’s dark), I really hope you enjoy it.

New Release: Bred by the King (Breeding Season) With Stacey Espino

bred by the king2

Breeding Season, 4

Can love exist in a lawless world?

It all happened so fast … the virus, the mass deaths, the collapse of civilization. The government insisted Ashley was unique, so she was branded, permanently marked as a fertile woman. She considered the so-called blessing to be a curse. Every man left alive on the planet wanted to use her as a breeding vessel. She wanted no part of becoming a baby-making machine.

Draven knows how to survive. After spending most of his adulthood in the Marines, the transition to the hostile new world felt almost seamless. He created a kingdom from the ashes, keeping up walls to protect the people he chose to allow inside. It isn’t until Ashley shows up at his gates that he realizes what he’s missing. He wants the curvy young virgin to give him an heir. What he doesn’t count on is falling in love…

Excerpt:

She wasn’t an animal, a vessel to be bred.

What she wanted no longer existed. Love and family were things of the past, something for future history books. If only his narrowed gaze, the one perusing every inch of her body, saw something more than a fertile. If Ashley had to choose a man to love her, she wouldn’t hesitate to select Draven. He was perfect—rugged and fearless, powerful, hypnotizing.

He came closer, and she instinctually backed away.

“Relax, little one. I said I won’t hurt you.”

There was a scar across his cheek, his thick stubble not growing along the seam. It only added to his appeal and intrigue. She caught his scent as he walked back and forth in front of her, a spicy sandalwood that she breathed in deeply.

“Sit down.” He pointed to a loveseat near his bed. She complied, cautiously sitting on the floral print cushion. “Tell me about yourself. Before the virus. What did you do for a living?”

She cocked her head, confused by his question.

“People don’t talk anymore. The art of conversation died with most of humanity, it seems. Tell me something. A memory. Anything.”

Ashley swallowed hard. This was strange, almost dreamlike, but it took her focus away from basic instincts and allowed her to think back to when life had been normal. Sane.

“I was a nursing student. My last year.” Her own voice sounded odd to her. “I had a dog. His name was—” Tears filled her eyes because she couldn’t even remember. So much of her past had been blocked out, maybe for her own sanity.

“It’s okay, baby.” Draven squatted down in front of her, one hand on her knee. “It’ll take time. Don’t worry about it.”

She took a deep breath, not wanting to appear weak in front of a man.

“Do you remember any of your hobbies?”

“Reading. I loved to read, but most of the books have been burned for heat,” she said.

He smiled. “I have a library downstairs. Fully stocked. I’ll show it to you later, if you like.”

She couldn’t help but smile back. Ashley wondered if her face would crack. It had been so long since she had something to smile about.

“It’s good to keep the mind active. Sometimes an escape is vital these days, don’t you agree?”

She nodded, trying not to stare at the broadness of his shoulders or the way the material of his shirt tightened around his biceps.

“Me, I was a Marine. Good one, too. Fought for freedom, or so they told me. Maybe I was a pawn for the government, an assassin for their greed. Who knows? Now, there’s nothing worth fighting for.” He wet his lips. “No, that’s not true. Not anymore.” His hand was still on her knee, and she could feel his heat and every twitch of his fingers. Her core coiled tight, her reaction to this man unnerving her. “Do you have any fears, Ashley?”

She loved the way he said her name, like it was a dessert he was savoring.

“Men. Being a victim.” Why was she opening up to this stranger? This had to be all an act. But somehow, he made her feel safe, her hard layers falling away. “I never asked to be a fertile, but it’s a curse, not a blessing.”

“Don’t say that. It’s a beautiful thing. A gift.” His hand slid slightly higher, resting on the fleshy part of her thigh. Could he hear her heart pounding in her chest? It sounded deafening in her ears.

“That’s because you’re a man. You probably don’t have any fears.”

He scoffed. “I’m afraid of a lot of things. Some I never even realized until you showed up at my gates. Most of all, I’d say the biggest one is death.”

This caught her interest. “Everyone has to die.”

“The way the world is now, the next day is never a guarantee. I’ve seen so much death, even before the virus. I want no part of it.”

“So you’ll stay alive forever?”

He chuckled. “Maybe I will. What about you? Care to join me?”

She shrugged, playing along. This fairy tale was better than her reality for now.

“We can forget the rest of the world, stay here, and live forever. Just you and me.” Something changed in his demeanor, a darkness passing over his features. Hunger. She wasn’t afraid. If anything, she didn’t trust her own instincts when it came to Draven.
