Chloe Lang is an amazing author and it gives me great pleasure to introduce her to my blog today.
Hello and welcome to my blog. It’s lovely to have you here today.
1) Please tell is about yourself.
was born in Missouri, but have been in Texas most of my life. I love sunshine and cowboys, but especially cowboys – 😉 I began devouring romance novels during summers between college semesters as a respite to the rigors of my studies. Soon, my lifelong addiction was born. For years, I tried my hand at writing romance stories, but shared them with no one. I’m really shy. After many months of prodding by friends, authors Sophie Oak and Shayla Black, I finally relented and let them read one. As the prodding turned to gentle shoves, I ultimately did submit something to Siren-BookStrand. The thrill of a life happened for me when I got the word that my book would be published.
2) Do you write full time?
I do. I love being a full-time author. Being a storyteller is what I was born to do. It’s in my DNA. Even before I was lucky enough to make a living at it, I was writing the stories of the people in my imagination.
3) What got you started writing?
Loving to read, I tried my hand at it at a very early age. I only shared it with my family and closest friends, and got wonderful feedback and reviews by them. I thought they were just prejudice, but I decided to try it anyway.
4) What words would best describe your books?
I do want to warn the reader that my books are not for the faint of heart, and are strictly for adults. That said, I love erotic romances. My inspirations are many. Shayla Black, Lexi Blake, Sophie Oak, Syliva Day, and E.L. James. Blending the sexual chemistry with the emotional energy between the characters in my books is why I love being a writer.
5) What are you working on now?
I have two series that have captured all my attention. In my Wilde, Nevada series, I’m currently learning about a wonderful sassy singer named Gya Gaynor in HER WILDE BODYGUARDS, #5 in the series. She’s quite a handful for Aaron and Kyle Strait, who are acting as her bodyguards because of a psychopathic stalker. Protection turns to passion between these three. I am definitely loving their story. It should be to the publisher by Feb 28, and hopefully released in May. In Destiny, Colorado, I’m working on Paris, Doc, and Mick’s story in POSSESSED BY PASSION, #9 in the series. Lot of twists and turns, including a suspense element that has kept me on the edge of my seat, plus visits by other Destonians that have stolen my heart. It should be out in June.
Tell us about your book here.
I’ve had two books released recently. One was Tangled by Temptation, #7 of Doms of Destiny, Colorado and the other was Her Wilde Marines, #4 of Wilde, Nevada.
Tangled by Temptation let me bring back some of my favourite characters from previous books. Belle White was in the very first book of the series. She was sister to Amber, the heroine of Captured by Cowboys. I wanted Belle to find her HEA but I wasn’t sure which of the men of Destiny would be the perfect fit for her. Then Shane and Corey Blue showed up in later books. Shane got to me right away. Corey, too. I knew they all three belonged together.
Here’s the official blurb:
Shane and Corey Blue work for the CIA and are tracking Destiny’s most heinous criminal. Mesmerized by the gorgeous Belle, the brothers work together to win her heart.
Belle White has suffered with a disease that has kept her from her dream of having children and being a mother. Her flaw has destroyed a past relationship, and ever since, she has refused to get involved with anyone, especially Shane and Corey. With all her heart, Belle wishes she could be the woman for the two brothers but knows it just can never be.
A strange woman arrives in Destiny, claiming to be on the run from her brother, the man Shane and Corey are searching for. As things heat up between Belle and the brothers, an evil plan begins to unfold that could destroy the trio and the town they all hold dear.
Her Wilde Marines allowed me to explore deeper into the family dynamic of Emma Grant, daughter of a woman who was in the very first Wilde book in the six-book serial The Brothers of Wilde, Nevada. Her mother also appeared in the second serial (7-books) The Strong Cowboys of Wilde, Nevada, as well as the new standalone novels in the Wilde, Nevada series, which continues the stories of the citizens of this tiny unique town.
Here’s the official blurb:
The deaths of her sisters and mother continue to trouble Emma Grant. The tragedy of her family has left her lost and alone. She fears she might be losing her mind just like her sisters and father. Hoping to quiet the voices haunting her at night, she returns to her hometown of Wilde, Nevada, a place that holds fond memories for her. Emma wants to start fresh with her two girls, away from their deadbeat father.
Also coming home to Wilde from their multiple tours of duty in the Marine Corps, identical twins Bane and Adam Taylor find Emma, a former high school classmate who has grown into a gorgeous woman. They remember that she left Wilde in a cloud of mystery when she was only sixteen.
The more time Emma spends with the brothers the deeper her feelings grow for them. Whenever she’s in their presence, the voices are silent. Why?
Here are five interesting facts about Chloe herself and her writing:
1. I have just started learning Spanish using Rosetta Stone. Hablo un poco de español.
2. I am a fan of Game of Thrones – the television series. Are you getting it in the UK?
3. I love Chinese food. I could eat it seven days a week if my DH would let me.
4. I love to get together with friends and family. They mean the most to me.
5. I don’t get to read as often as I like any more due to my schedule, but I still find time for my favourites when I can—Shayla Black, Sylvia Day, E.L. James, Sophie Oak, and Lexi Blake. And of course, the wonderful Sam Crescent. A nice sunny day with a great book and a cup of tea is the best relaxation in the world for me.
Thank you, Sam, for having me on your blog.
