Scorch’s tongue plundered her mouth, and Victoria moaned as he swept inside meeting her own. She gripped the fabric of his shirt within her fists needing him to take away the ache building inside her. When he left her inside her room she’d not known what to think or to feel. “You’re so beautiful,” he said, breaking the kiss. His hand held the back of her neck holding her in place.

“You think I’m beautiful?”

“Yes. No one has made me burn like you do.”

Her heart soared at his words. No one had ever told her she was beautiful before. Apart from her parents but they didn’t count. Most parents were biased about their children. She had stood looking out of the window knowing in her heart what she wanted. Victoria wanted his arms wrapped around her, forcing all the bad memories away. There was no chance of her getting any peace tonight, not with everything that had happened so far.

Knowing he was meeting with other pack members didn’t help her nerves. Every second he was away from his pack left him vulnerable. Chain terrified her while Scorch tempted her with so much more.

“Then I will spend the rest of our lives together telling you how beautiful you are.” His fingers soothed out the tension within her neck. He brought her up close against him. “Now kiss me like you want me.”

Wrapping her arms around his neck, Victoria kissed him with all the pent up frustration that had been building inside her from their first meeting.

Opening her lips, she plundered her tongue into his mouth, giving him no chance to pull away. She held on tight never wanting to let go. His hands left her neck and slid down to cup her ass drawing her closer to his body.

Hello and welcome to my blog. It’s lovely to have you here today.

1)      Please tell is about yourself.

was born in Missouri, but have been in Texas most of my life. I love sunshine and cowboys, but especially cowboys – 😉   I began devouring romance novels during summers between college semesters as a respite to the rigors of my studies. Soon, my lifelong addiction was born. For years, I tried my hand at writing romance stories, but shared them with no one. I’m really shy. After many months of prodding by friends, authors Sophie Oak and Shayla Black, I finally relented and let them read one. As the prodding turned to gentle shoves, I ultimately did submit something to Siren-BookStrand. The thrill of a life happened for me when I got the word that my book would be published.

2)      Do you write full time?

I do. I love being a full-time author. Being a storyteller is what I was born to do. It’s in my DNA. Even before I was lucky enough to make a living at it, I was writing the stories of the people in my imagination.

3)      What got you started writing?

Loving to read, I tried my hand at it at a very early age. I only shared it with my family and closest friends, and got wonderful feedback and reviews by them. I thought they were just prejudice, but I decided to try it anyway.

4)      What words would best describe your books?

I do want to warn the reader that my books are not for the faint of heart, and are strictly for adults. That said, I love erotic romances. My inspirations are many. Shayla Black, Lexi Blake, Sophie Oak, Syliva Day, and E.L. James. Blending the sexual chemistry with the emotional energy between the characters in my books is why I love being a writer.

5)      What are you working on now?

I have two series that have captured all my attention. In my Wilde, Nevada series, I’m currently learning about a wonderful sassy singer named Gya Gaynor in HER WILDE BODYGUARDS, #5 in the series. She’s quite a handful for Aaron and Kyle Strait, who are acting as her bodyguards because of a psychopathic stalker. Protection turns to passion between these three. I am definitely loving their story. It should be to the publisher by Feb 28, and hopefully released in May. In Destiny, Colorado, I’m working on Paris, Doc, and Mick’s story in POSSESSED BY PASSION, #9 in the series. Lot of twists and turns, including a suspense element that has kept me on the edge of my seat, plus visits by other Destonians that have stolen my heart. It should be out in June.

 

Tell us about your book here.

I’ve had two books released recently. One was Tangled by Temptation, #7 of Doms of Destiny, Colorado and the other was Her Wilde Marines, #4 of Wilde, Nevada.

Tangled by Temptation let me bring back some of my favourite characters from previous books. Belle White was in the very first book of the series. She was sister to Amber, the heroine of Captured by Cowboys. I wanted Belle to find her HEA but I wasn’t sure which of the men of Destiny would be the perfect fit for her. Then Shane and Corey Blue showed up in later books. Shane got to me right away. Corey, too. I knew they all three belonged together.

She picked up her fork and started moving the food around her plate. “You don’t like the grilled Salmon?” She glanced up at him, but quickly averted her eyes. “I asked you a question, Ruby.” She looked up at him again and set her fork down.
“No, in fact I don’t.” He knew she probably meant to sound stronger, but those words came from her on a whisper.
“You don’t like seafood?” He wiped his mouth with the linen napkin and set it down. Gavin leaned back in his seat and wrapped his fingers around the stem of his wine glass.
“Being kidnapped and held captive has a way of ruining a person’s appetite.” He cocked an eyebrow.
“Yes, I suppose it does.” He stared at her for several seconds. She started to fidget again. “Do I make you nervous?” She looked at him with shock written across her face, and although it was a rhetorical question because he knew he did. She didn’t answer, but once again looked down at her lap. “Look at me, Ruby.” She didn’t, and he slammed his fist down on the table, knocking over his wine glass. The chardonnay spilled across the white table cloth, but his focus was on the young women across from him. She was now looking at him, her eyes wide, and her back pressed all the way against the back of the chair. Gavin leaned in and rested his forearms on the table. “Since my politeness in starting a civil conversation is not going over the way it should, I will have to just have to do this the hard way.” She audibly swallowed. “This is your new home, Ruby. You are mine, my property, and to do with as I please. I have certain desires, and you are the one that will appease them.” She started shaking her head, but he didn’t think she even realized she was doing the act. “Oh yes, Princess. I have many things planned for you, for your body, and for how to make you scream for more.”
“I will never want that, or you.” Her voice shook as she spoke.
“We will see, darling.”
“Why me?” Fat tears fell from her eyes and she angrily wiped them away. He leaned back again and smiled. “Why can’t you just tell me that? You can tell me everything else, but have yet to really tell me why you are keeping me here.”
He had told her already why she was here—to pleasure him. But it was clear his earlier words were not getting through to her. He knew her fear was paramount, knew that this must be very hard for her, but she would have to get used to it and accept it.
 “Why not you? You were there for the taking, sweet Ruby. But I saw something special in you, something fiery and determined. I knew when you struggled on that stage that I had to have you for myself. I liked the fighter I saw in you, and there wasn’t anyone that would stop me from what I wanted, and what I wanted was you.” She didn’t respond for several seconds. “Go on, Ruby, tell me how you feel.” Normally he wouldn’t have cared what a female thought. He also didn’t care what others thought if he didn’t directly ask them. That was the way of the world, of his business, and it suited him fine. But Ruby was different than others. Yes, he owned her, and yes, she would be the perfect pet for his deliciously sadistic pleasures. But he just needed to look in her eyes to know that her resistance would slowly fade as she came to terms with her life now. It would take time, but they had an abundance of that.
“You do realize how wrong this is?” He thought about what she had just said, but all he could do was smile. “You do realize I was kidnapped, drugged, and sold like cattle?” She had stopped crying, and once again he saw that flash of fire behind her eyes.
“None of that matters, Ruby, because you are here now, and I have no intentions of letting you go. But if it makes you feel better you are more than welcome to tell me your dreams and aspirations.” He smiled wider and he saw the way she bunched her hands into fists on the table.
“It doesn’t matter anyway.”
“Oh, but it does. I’d like to know about you, Princess.”
“Stop calling me that.” His former easygoing attitude started to fade at her words.
“You don’t make the demands, I do.” His voice was low, and he slammed his fist on the table once again. She jumped, and he liked that she was frightened of him. “I’ll call you anything that pleases me. You are here for my enjoyment. If I chose to give you pleasure, than you greedily accept it, say thank you, and hope I am generous and give you more.”
She stood quickly, knocking her chair over in the process. She was shaking her head and glancing around the room for an exit, but she wouldn’t get far. She took off toward the door that led into the kitchen, but he was already out of his seat and striding toward her. He pushed the kitchen door open with so much force it slammed against the opposite wall. She cried out and spun around, and in her fear and haste to get away she knocked over the serving wear that was on the marble island. It fell to the floor, shattering into little porcelain pieces. She had picked a simple sundress to wear, but was barefoot, and when he saw that she was about to turn and run again, and therefore step all over the shards beneath her, he moved swiftly. He had her up and in his arms seconds later, and set her on the counter. The sound of crunching under his shoes was loud, but not nearly as loud as the sound of her frantic breathing.

Hi all,

This is a quick update and to show off my cover for, Devil’s Charm. First, I’d like to say I’m working on Killer and Kelsey’s story and it has been one emotional write. I’m hoping to have it completed and submitted to Evernight very soon. Also, I’m going to let you know what Zero’s story will be next. He’s really speaking to me so I’ll dedicate my time to him.
