1) Tell is about yourself.

I’m a full-time author, happily taken woman, mother of 2 wonderful boys and almost step mom of 2 more boys and a girl. Yep, we have a large family. I write six days a week and keep to a strict 2k minimum word count per day. Most days I write closer to 5k especially when a story is unfolding well and I’m blessed with quiet time. To date, I have 48 books published; 2 under my pen name Bonnie Parker. I spend the afternoons with the children. After dinner, they usually disappear to their rooms to do their own thing and I curl up with a book on the sofa next to my honey while he watches TV. I’m not much of a TV person, though I have a few shows I’m hooked on. I love The Walking Dead, NCIS, Chicago Fire, and White Collar. Thursday nights are dart night. My honey and I are part of the local darting association and we have a team that plays every Thursday night. I use that time to unwind and put all the household responsibilities and plot lines to the back of my mind for a few hours.

2) What genre do you write and why?

I write mostly erotic romance contemporary, though I have a few books in the fantasy and paranormal genres. I write erotic romances because I got tired of closing the bedroom door when a plot was just getting to the steamy stuff. I’m not really sure I can explain why I prefer contemporary. I get on my paranormal or fantasy kicks now and then, but I always come back to contemporary. Maybe it’s because of my fascination with men in uniform. I’ve seen some authors take this concept into the paranormal genre, but when I picture a firefighter, law officer, soldier, or what have you, he’s always more real-life than super-powered.

3) What made you become a writer?

The voices in my head. Seriously, even when I was a kid, they wouldn’t shut up! It was either start writing or declare myself insane. Some people say I’m insane anyway, but at least I found a way to put the voices to work.

4) Tell us about your recent book or series.

My most recent title is book 9 of The Heroes of Silver Springs series and will be released on Christmas Eve 2012. Going Under features three male characters who have been working their way into one heck of a love triangle for several books now and are finally getting their story. It is a M/M/M novel, the first one in The Heroes of Silver Springs and highly anticipate by fans of the series, even those who don’t generally read man love novels. Here’s the official blurb:

For a man who vowed never to fall in love, how can it be possible FBI agent Cameron Stone managed to fall twice? Hot on the trail of a missing fellow agent, Cameron finds himself in Silver Springs, hometown of DEA agent Adrien Bingham and Firefighter Thaddeus Carter, and the last place Cameron needs to be. When emotions run wild and attraction explodes, can the self-proclaimed playboy hold onto his resistance?

Adrien never intended to fall for Cameron. Too bad his heart wouldn’t listen. Then Thaddeus walked into his life and his heart ended up on a train wreck of confusion.

Thaddeus knew Adrien’s heart already belonged to someone, but that didn’t stop his pursuit. When he meets Cameron, he realizes the man is the one standing in his way. But when his own attraction to Cameron detonates, he’s left in a hell of a mess.

5) What have you found to be the most challenging?

Promotion. I hate promotion! As a writer, that’s all I want to do is tell the stories of the characters who are speaking to me in my head. Unfortunately, a writing career involves a lot more than simply sitting down at a computer and letting the words flow. I have to actually let people know there is a book out there by me to be read. In a slew of too many other books to count, promotion is definitely a vital key to keeping up the career, but it still sucks. LOL

A Few fun questions.

Does size matter?

Nope, but skill does 🙂

Christian Grey or Gideon Cross?

I honestly can’t answer that. I haven’t read either book.

The Bad Boys’ Reluctant Woman

Jake, Brent, and Connor have been friends all their lives. They want a woman to share, and they know that woman is Zoe. However, she keeps all three men at arm’s length. Her reluctance is frustrating as they know she wants them back.

Zoe is reluctant to give herself to three men. She’s scared to love and to trust again. All three men fight her resolve and show her how it can feel to be loved by all of them. When Zoe ends up in danger, her men realize the love they feel for her.

But could they be too late to tell her how they feel?

Be Warned: anal sex, menage sex (MFMM)

She stared at his erection. He felt her gaze like a caress over his length. “I thought you didn’t want me.”
“Baby, I wish I was able to reduce my need for you. Look at me, Zoe. I’m dying here.”
Her chuckles lightened the mood. He took her hand and kissed her knuckles. “I didn’t push you away. I was trying to do the right thing.”
“Connor has seen me naked,” she said.
“Lucky bastard. He gets all the fun. I think it has something to do with that brooding thing he’s got going for him.”
She lifted the shirt up and over her head. “I think it is only fair you get to see me and make up your own mind.”
Brent stared at the perfection of her body. He’d had many sizes and shapes of women, and none of them held a candle to Zoe. She was all woman. Every part of her was full and soft. His cock pulsed at the sight of her.
His mouth watered for a taste of her.
“What else did Connor do?” he asked.
He would come if she said anything about fucking. Brent had no control left.
“He touched my breasts.”
“Like this?” he asked, reaching out and cupping the mounds. They were heavy and ripe. Brent loved the feel of them in his hands.
“Yes,” she said with a gasp to her voice.
“Do you like me touching you?”
“Yes.” Brent felt her tits and watched her nipples harden. “He licked my nipples as well.”
Pre-cum leaked out of the tip of his cock.
“Is that all he did?” Jake asked, startling them. Zoe spun around, and Brent pressed her against his front.
“Connor has touched her breasts, Jake,” he said, holding her tits in his hands.
“I see you have as well.”
“They’re perfect, Jake. Come and feel.”
Jake walked over and took what Brent offered.
Zoe was shaking between them. Brent leaned down and whispered in her ear. “If you want us to stop, say so.”
“No, I’m fine.”
“What else did Connor get to do?” Jake asked.

1) Tell is about yourself.

I spend my days at an evil day job, then come home and write. I grew up in the Midwest for the most part. Married. Divorced. Family. Been there, done that. In my younger days, I wanted to write but had too many higher priorities. Now that I have more free time, I can take writing seriously. It’s like a drug to me and I can’t shake it. Not that I’m even trying.

2) What genre do you write and why?

The genres I write vary from urban fantasy erotic romance, paranormal erotic romance, ménage, fantasy, and contemporary erotic romance. I’m a lifelong lover of the paranormal. I always had an interest in the darker side of the world. I blame and thank my mother. But I like to explore and welcome change, so I dabble in other genres.

3) What made you become a writer?

Well, even in my youth, I enjoyed writing. Teachers always complimented me. I didn’t enjoy reading until I was a teenager. In my early twenties, I wrote a short YA story. Never did anything with it though as family became #1 priority. Then, about 2009, I was reading and thought…I can do this. Yep, it was that simple. Timing was right for me too. My goal is to make it a real full time job one day.

4) Tell us about your recent book or series.

My most recent series is a Contemporary Erotic Romance one called Sisters of Lonewood. Seven sisters are from Lonewood, Illionis, and each sister has a short story about discovering love. So far, I’ve written four and all have been picked up by Evernight Publishing. Some stories are sweet. Others are more erotic and playful. I’m working on the last three sisters. I have their stories in my head and just need to find the time to get the details typed up and submitted. Alison’s story is a ménage. I try to add some variety in the series.

5) What have you found to be the most challenging?

As far as writing is concerned, coming up with stories is not challenging at all. LOL. Time is challenging. I have so much in my head that I want to share, so many stories, and I lack the time to get the stories told. Motherly duties still come into play, and a social life. I can’t stay behind a computer every night. LOL

A Few fun questions.

Does size matter?

Hell YES. I’m a very honest person. YES. ;-P

Christian Grey or Gideon Cross?

Neither. I’ll take Jericho Barrons.

Nikki’s Story
Blurb, Book Details and Buy Links

Months of preparation for Nikki’s wedding have fallen down the toilet in a matter of days. One accident after another pops up and she must scramble to make amends. Her six sisters come to her aid, but when the priest scheduled to preside at the ceremony suddenly becomes sick she wonders if it’s a sign telling her to cancel the wedding.

In less than two days, she must decide what her heart and soul desire.

“The wedding is two days away,” Brenda said as she stepped closer to them. “Please tell me this is a joke.”
“I’m afraid not. It’s just bad luck.”
“We always have bad luck.” Brenda plopped on the sofa next to Nikki and bounced slightly. “Whenever something positive is about to happen, there are always half a dozen bad things that prevent it.”
Nikki couldn’t discount the accuracy of her sister’s statement. Since she’d returned home to Lonewood five days ago, a string of accidents had occurred. Her wedding dress had torn in two places, causing Lisa to spend extra time trying to repair it. The party store they’d rented tables and chairs from had marked the wrong date in their books and forced Nikki to go to the next town to get furniture for the reception, which cost them twice as much to rent. A spider had bitten her hand while she was working in the garden two days ago. Her fingers had swollen up so big she had to remove her engagement ring. The pressure in her hand had lessened, but she still doubted a band could slip over her digit. Then, she’d hit a bad pothole late one night when she was out with her sisters. Her car now had a rattling sound in the engine and shook at stops. One problem after another had emerged since Nikki had ventured back to town. But out of everything, the Father’s sudden illness seemed the worst. Without an ordained minister of the Catholic faith, Nikki and Stephen couldn’t marry.
“Hopefully Mrs. Clemmons will find someone,” Nikki said.
“Do you absolutely have to have a Catholic priest preside over the wedding?” Lisa asked.
“I’m afraid so. Stephen’s not religious, and I know he couldn’t care if we got married in a church or not. But his parents are devout followers, and they had made it clear from the start we had to wed under the Catholic faith. Neither of us wants to disappoint them, and since they helped pay some expenses, we feel obligated to obey their one little request.”
Nikki didn’t care one way or the other where they wed or who ministered the ceremony, but she did want to stay on the good side of her future in-laws. They’d been nothing but kind to her since she’d met them. Granting their one wish was the least she could do. Adult Excerpt:

They stood under the shower of rain with their tongues playing and their bodies rubbing together. Stephen tugged at her shirt and lifted it as he nudged her back. She refused to let go of him, kept her arms secured around his neck, and took delight from his excited kiss while she took one baby step back after another. He stopped her past the backdoor and wedged her between him and the car. When he pressed his hard cock against her navel, she couldn’t resist the urge to free it. Desire raged within her as she hurried to unfasten his pants. She had to have him now, his cock inside her and filling her.
“I need you, Stephen. I need you now.”
He lifted her shirt over her head. As he lowered her shirt and dropped it, he looked from one direction to the next.
She carefully lowered the zipper of his jeans. “It’s not a heavily traveled road. If we hurry—”
He claimed hold of her face and thrust his tongue back inside her mouth. Electric currents of pleasure flowed within her body. Their tongues frolicked again while he slid one hand down her neck and to her chest. He pushed her bra aside and squeezed one of her breasts. More tingles raced to her sex. Longing to touch him, she slid her hand inside his boxers. She found his rigid length, and as she rubbed her wet hand over it, he moaned. The thought of his thick, hot cock pumping into her brought forth a spasm in her pussy. She craved his love, and if he gave it to her she would return it in kind and never let him go.

Guest: C.R, Moss

1) Tell us about yourself.

Hi everyone, my name is Chris, and I write under the names C.R. Moss for erotic and mainstream romance and Casey Moss for mainstream dark fiction (horror, suspense, urban fantasy). My professional bio for C.R.: An eccentric and eclectic writer, C.R. Moss pens stories for the mainstream and erotic romance markets, giving readers Worlds of Possibilities when it comes to love. The bio for my other persona: Casey Moss delves into the darker aspects of life in her writing, sometimes basing the stories on reality, sometimes on myth. No matter the path, her stories will take you on a journey from the light-hearted paranormal to dark things unspeakable. What waits around the corner? Come explore…

2) What genre do you write and why?

As C.R. Moss, I like to dabble in a bunch of different sub-genres under the erotic romance umbrella. This way I’m able to go with what the story calls for whether it be sci-fi, paranormal, chick lit, etc.

3) What made you become a writer?

For a very brief period of time, I had ideas of becoming a teacher or an astronaut. Both occurred before the age of ten. But for the most part, I knew I wanted to write at a young age, as early as I learned to read. I was always cooking up stories to entertain myself in the rural area I lived in. Had to since there were no other kids around to play with. My defining moment came when I received an A in English in grade school. I was just shy of being a teenager when I had my ‘calling.’ Ever since then, most of my choices in life have revolved around my goal of becoming a full-time fiction writer and being published.

Upon my ‘calling’ I wrote a story for a magazine. It’d been rejected, but that was my start. After that, I began studying the craft of writing. It started with working on the school newspaper in middle school to creative writing classes and Teens Art Festivals in high school. I received a BA in Communications, Information and Library Studies from Rutgers College with a strong concentration in English Lit/Writing and Interpersonal Communications/PR. Studying under the mentorship of Terri Valentine (author of ‘Sands of Time,’ a Zebra Historical Romance), I honed my novel writing skills. In the mid to late 2000s, I finally put my foot down, got over my nerves and took the plunge into submitting stories to publishers. I’ve been published since 2008, and as for the craft, I’m still learning things by taking the occasional online class, attending industry conferences, and devouring all the writing how-to books I can get my hands on.

4) Tell us about your recent book or series.

The germ of an idea for the Double D Ranch Tales series started when I took a vacation at a working ranch and was around the cowboys, campfires, cattle, horses, eating outdoors… Well, you get the picture. So, my muse started asking, “What if?” What if there were a couple of friends who went to a ranch to get away from their lives for a bit? What if they hooked up with a couple of sexy cowboys? My writing partner and I had already worked on one project together, and when I got home, I called her up and said, “Guess what we’re writing next.” We work well together, and when we get together to brainstorm, the ideas and words just flow. ‘Wild West Hauntings’ (book 2) came about from one of our sessions where we tossed around concepts for the follow up story to ‘Wild West Weekend’ (book 1). Then as we worked on ‘Wild West Hauntings’, the series morphed into something great. We even started notes on story number four, which was going to be story three until we were hanging out downtown one afternoon and came up with a honeymoon story that took the third spot in the series and bumped the other story to the next slot. And we have inklings of ideas for book five!

‘Wild West Hauntings’ ~ Double D Ranch Tales, 2. An Editor’s Pick!

In life and the afterlife, on the Double D Ranch one belief holds true—the power of love changes lives.

With cowboys, ghosts, modern day women, hot dreams, pre-wedding relations and a bit of sexy time travel, life promises to be one wild time on the ranch again.

Rachel Star has met the man of her dreams … literally. Too bad he’s a ghost. When true love crosses boundaries from dreams to reality and across time, the Double D ranch is the place it happens. It takes the love of a man from the past, Dalton Dougan, to bring love full circle in the present for Rachel.

Bristol Ashcombe, soon to be Dougan, is ready to have her baby … and so is a poltergeist. Can the love of a woman for her man and child sustain her during the most horrible of terrors? Can the love between family and friends really dispel the evil haunting them?

~ Excerpt ~

… “You guys look like you’ve seen a ghost. What gives?”

Marianne gulped. “I think we did. And when did you learn to play the piano?”

Rachel’s gaze flitted around the room. Bristol, who still sat in the rocker, had gone white again. Even the men seemed out of sorts, staring at her like she’d grown two heads.

“Excuse me? I was just sitting by the fire.” She went to point down at the hearth, which wasn’t there, but several feet away. Spinning to look behind her to gain her bearings, she almost whacked her knee on the piano bench. A chill scuttled through her body. She turned back to the women. How?

“Yeah.” Cassie bobbed her head as if agreeing with her thought. “You were totally zoned out. Didn’t hear us at all. When you got up and went to the piano, I thought Marianne was going to totally lose it. At first there was a haze to the left of you.” Cassie held up her smartphone. “See? We caught pictures. Then after you stopped playing.” Cassie moved her finger around on the device then showed it. “The orb at your lower back is particularly interesting.”

Rachel snatched the phone away from her, quickly flipped through the pictures on the small screen. Fingering the photos back and forth, her heart rate beat a frantic staccato. They were right. In the images, she looked zoned out, like the flickering of the fire had put her in a state of self-hypnosis. Just as Cassie had said, a translucent, milky white shimmer floated in the air near her in most of the photos, while a red haze clung to her form. A few toward the end showed bright fluffy looking spheres amassing next to the piano. Then a huge one drifted toward her back in the last picture.

The same area Dalton touched me. She swallowed hard. Tamping down the rush of panic zooming through her brain and the flux of bile rising in her throat, she put on a brave, hopefully unruffled, face. “These are…” Hating the way her voice and hand shook as she handed back the phone, she took a deep breath, then continued, “Quite interesting. Sure your lens isn’t dirty?”

Cassie shrugged. “It could be, but then why didn’t the smudges stay in one place? The haze moved around. Don’t you think it’s a bit freaky?”

5) What have you found to be the most challenging?

In writing with a co-partner – sometimes getting our schedules to sync up.

In writing erotic romance – sometimes the sex scenes. The mechanics are okay, but it’s getting the right emotions and sensual aspects across at the right moments.

In publishing – sometimes all the promotion an author has to do.

A Few fun questions.

Does size matter?

IMO, yes. Too small (“Are you even there?”) or too big (“You’re splitting me in two!”) wouldn’t be fun at all and would detract from the experience.

Christian Grey or Gideon Cross?

Since I haven’t read Day’s stories yet, I’ll have to go with Grey. Give him a taste of his own medicine.

Flowers or Chocolate?

Chocolate. Unless the flowers are fake. I don’t mind fake flowers because they last longer, and I don’t feel are a waste of money regardless of the sentiment behind them.

E-book or paperback?

Depends upon the story, the author and my mood. I enjoy collecting both. 🙂

Bound for Christmas

Club Kink, 1

They rarely spoke. They only touched hands. Until now.

Bernice Rowe has been fascinated by the man who regularly visits the library where she works. They never speak and only stare at each other. When she learns that her mystery man is one of the dominant men at Club Kink, she makes a choice to become a submissive.

Master Leon has been visiting the library for one reason—Bernice. He wants her desperately but knows his desires are not for everyone. When Leon finds her at the club he makes sure everyone knows she is his submissive.

He takes her away and starts her training. Leon is determined to make her his woman in time for Christmas. Neither know how the other feels, and it looks like it is going to be a Christmas to remember for both of them.

Be Warned: sex toys, spanking, BDSM, public exhibition

Her nipples were on fire. The clamps stung. She wanted to tear them off her breasts, but then she’d get even worse. Then the burning pain shot through her whole body. Her clit swelled. She rubbed her legs together feeling the pleasure shake her entire body. His touch sent off electric signals all around her. She was sensitive to the slightest touch.
“Do you feel the change?” he asked.
“I ache everywhere, Master.”
He turned her so her back was to him. “Every part of you is sensitive?”
“Yes, it is more than I can stand.”
Leon chuckled. The vibrations went straight to her cunt. She was on fire with the need to climax.
His hands moved down the sides of her body. She whimpered then cried out as his hands slapped either side of her thighs. “Did I say you could play with yourself?”
“I’m not.”
Another short sharp slap to her thigh. She cried out then moaned as her legs scissored for more contact with her clitoris.
“You’re building up your punishments here, baby. Address me properly with my title unless I tell you otherwise.”
“I’m sorry, Master.” She wanted to sob and beg him to make her come all at the same time.
“Good.” His hands moved round to the front of her thighs. She felt him move down her body until he split her legs open. The contact she’d gained with her clit was lost.
Bernice whimpered missing the contact already.
“Please,” she said.
“Please, what?” he asked.
She cried out. It was too much. How could anyone concentrate with so much sensation? Her focus failed at every opportunity. It was too much and not enough. The pain combined with the pleasure made it hard for her to focus on anything. Leon expected her to keep saying his title while she couldn’t remember her own name.
He turned her back to face him. She stared at him for several seconds before he caught her close. Leon stroked her hair as she tried to gain some composure.
“You can use your safe word at any time,” he whispered.
She closed her eyes. Was she ready to give up?
