The Next Big Thing!

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to say a quick word about my Amazon.com author page. I’m from the UK and because I’ve never needed to purchase anything from the the Amazon.com page, it means I can’t comment.

I saw the discussion titled, ABOUT TIME! I wanted to say a big thank you to Elifant71 for your kind words. I also want to say that I’ll answer any queries or posts that I find on my page on my blog so it would be easier to find. I appreciate your comments and your support. Thank you.

Now, every time I complete a book and submit, I spend one day of my time in the kitchen or sat reading a book. The last story I finished, The Law Castle Bad Boys book 2, I celebrated by reading, His Tattooed Virgin by Heather Rainer and doing some much needed baking. This is what I consider thrilling after the long days spent in front of a computer. After my passion for writing, my next passions are cooking/ baking and reading.

I was tagged by the lovely Rose Anderson, in something called The Next Big Thing. From what I can gather, you tag five authors and they answer a load of questions about their current works-in-progress. I’m currently working on the fourth Cape Falls book. I love writing this series about a fictional town and I will now answer a load of questions to give you guys more information.

What is your working title of your book?

I can’t tell you. My titles come in so many different ways. Sometimes, I know the title of my book before I start writing while at other times, I have to wait. At the moment, no title has come to me, so I’ll be waiting for the muse to give me that spark of inspiration.

Where did the idea come from for the book?

This is the next book in my Cape Falls series. The previous book, Mine to Keep, ended on sort of a cliff hanger and this story has evolved since that one. I don’t like to give too much away as this story is not completely finished and I never know for sure how it will pan out.

When it comes to my books I allow the muse to lead me. I never plan a book as that never really works out for me.

Here are the other books in the series

What genre does your book fall under?

Like most of my work, rubenesque, May/ December, erotic romance. However, this story will also have a BDSM element.

Which actors would you choose to play your characters in a movie rendition?

I really don’t like this questions. I never think of actors in roles of my characters. I find that certain influences could affect my writing. This is also another reason why I prefer to make up fictional towns so that I’m not influenced by any other factors.

What is the one-sentence synopsis of your book?

Daisy was loosing control and there is only one man who can catch her.

I’ve just made that up, lol. I have no idea what my synopsis will be.

Will your book be self-published or represented by an agency?

No, I’ll submit this book to Evernight Publishing as they have the other books in the series and are an amazing publisher.

How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript?

I write and tweak as I go along. This one has taken me over two weeks but I’ve been working on it since Mine to Keep was accepted. It is a long process I go through that makes sense to me LOL.

What other books would you compare this story to within your genre?

Another really hard question. I never try to write similar stories. I’m inspired by books but try not to influence my work on other people’s stuff. Anything that can effect my own writing style, I avoid.

Who or what inspired you to write this book?

I love my Cape Falls series and my own passion for writing. Also, I left Mine to Keep on a cliff hanger and I want to know what happens next.

What else about your book might pique the reader’s interest?

If you’ve read Mine to Keep then this book deals with the problem that Daisy McAllister told William. Also, there is more to Daisy than meets the eye.

The next authors I want to tag and hope to hear about their next work in progress is;
