Hello and welcome Angela Castle to my site. She has so graciously agreed to be interviewed.
So lets begin…
1) First, tell us a little about yourself so the readers know who you are?
Hum, where to start, I’m an Aussie first off, married with three children, seven and under, living in pretty little rural town in Victoria. I work part time as a chef, in a lovely little bistro and have many different hobbies and interest such as reading, whip cracking, sewing, helping to run a local play group… the list does go on.
2) What made you decide to write? Was it something you accidentally began? Or what you wanted to do? Or annoying character who refused to leave until their story was told?
I think I’ve always been a story teller and dreamer since early childhood. I grew up with three sisters and a brother. I used to love and write stories for them. At twenty one I had the opportunity to spend a lot of time alone, house sitting, and wrote my very first novel. (Which will more than likely never see the light of day.) But as it does, life gets in the way, work, family, kids. There years ago I started writing again, with the intent of being published.
3) I love hearing about first acceptances as an aspiring writer and now that I am e-published, I still love hearing about them. So tell us about that first acceptance.
Yes, I love hearing those stories too! My first book Blue Fire, although the story was good, my writing was utter crapacious. I had much to learn about grammar and sentence structure ect. Even clueless, I still submitted and got knocked back on my poor writing style. But I didn’t let it stop me. I worked hard to get the manuscript up to an acceptable standard. I was thrilled when I re-submitted Blue Fire, and got my first acceptance letter. (Yes hubby thought I’d lost my mind screaming down the house) The publisher Rouge Phoenix Press, were wonderful, working with me, helping me get my story to a publishable standard. Blue Fire has been a great success since release.
4) Tell us about your current release? Where can readers buy it from?
Love Unbound, is a modern BDSM story, it is a heart-touching story, dealing with the emotions of losing someone close to you.
Sometimes I get a story so strong in my head it simply refuses to leave until I have written it out. This was such a story, coupled with the fact I had a recent death in my family, I poured my sad emotions into this story.

· Siren publishing
5) What are you currently writing?
Being a multitasker, I have several projects going on at once. I’m currently working on two separate sci-fi abduction stories. One is a gladiator beast type story. The other is a galactic ruler, needing to find a bride type story. All wonderful fun. J
6) What inspires you most when you write?
Coffee… lots, and lots of coffee…. Naaah, I am blessed with an overactive imagination, not a day goes by without my head wanting to implode with a story. Anything could trigger a thought which will lead to a plot and a new story.
7) What experiences have you had working with your publisher/s?
With over fourteen titles currently selling, I’ve been lucky enough to have worked with four different publishers. I love all my current publishers. They have been great, professional, flexible and understanding.
8) What are you reading now?
Now that is a loaded question, I can chew through a book in a few hours, I LOVE reading as much as I LOVE writing. I’ve just read Tymber Dalton’s, Love Slave For Two, series. And have a Pile of To Be Read a mile long.
9) What are your guilty pleasures?
Coffee… chocolate… no, Chocolate then coffee? Aaaah heck combination of the two? Died and gone to heaven!
10) What would be your advice, if any, for other aspiring authors?
Never give up! You may think your writing or story is not good enough, don’t let it stop you. Keep going, keep your mind open to new things and learning everything you can. Also daydreaming is one of the most vital aspects for every creative writer. Then turn your dreams into reality.
This is for you to talk more about yourself, leave your blogging details, site details and generally promote yourself.
