Hello and welcome Abby to my site. She has so graciously agreed to be interviewed.
So lets begin…
1) First, tell us a little about yourself so the readers know who you are?
By day I’m a college student who also works in a campus office. By night I’m a writer of sexy erotic works. I am living two very separate lives and love each one of them. I have so much to be grateful for in finding Naughty Nights Press to publish my work.
SC: They are a wonderful company with great people.
2) What made you decide to write? Was it something you accidentally began? Or what you wanted to do? Or annoying character who refused to leave until their story was told?
Hmmm, writing I think found me. It started with the idea for my story Finding Paradise. Listening to several women complain in the office where I work, I took their complaints, and well offered a hot and sexy solution through the power of social media. In this case Facebook. I’d always played with writing, but until this story had not seriously tried it.
SC: Writing, I think for me has become an addiction.
3) I love hearing about first acceptances as an aspiring writer and now that I am e-published, I still love hearing about them. So tell us about that first acceptance.
I was just thrilled to get a contract for Finding Paradise. I had a friend who was an author of erotic romance and she is the one that thought my story would be a perfect match for Naughty Nights Press. I listened, after a lot of coaxing and sent off the story, but to actually see the contract in my email was a whole other story. It has really changed my life.
SC: One of the best moments in my life.
4) Tell us about your current release? Where can readers buy it from?
Days before her high school reunion, Kelly reconnects on Facebook with childhood friend, Nevaeh—a woman who, rumor has it, has lived a life straight out of some erotic novel. And, Kelly has a lot of erotica on her ereader! Ménages, slave fantasies, strangers and BDSM are all included in the stories Nevaeh has to share.
This sexy, world traveler incites Kelly to forge a friendship unlike any she’s ever had before. She never knew a shopping trip could be so educational, especially in an adult store. With her head spinning and her panties damp, Kelly embarks on a crusade to reignite the passion her and her husband, Nate, once had with a few new toys and other surprises. When he surprises her by being a more than willing participant, she decides to test a few boundaries, push a few limits…
Kelly becomes determined to find out if her old neighbor is right, if paradise can be found within your own four walls with the man you married. But, what happens when Kelly’s husband finds out about all of her time spent with Nevaeh? What will happen when Nevaeh’s husband, Hayden, comes into town for the reunion? Will her marriage be in trouble, or will things go further than Kelly ever dreamed they could go?
5) What are you currently writing?
I actually just finished a Valentine’s themed novella coming out in Feb with NNP.
SC: Keep up the writing.
6) What inspires you most when you write?
Anything really. Right now I have a contract with NNP to write one story a month for 2012. The themes I have been given for them so far have just set my imagination spinning in all sorts of directions.
7) What experiences have you had working with your publisher/s?
Fantastic! Gina Kincade and all of the staff at NNP have been so supportive as have the other authors. It is truly an amazing family to be apart of. I’ve heard horror stories and know how different NNP is and how truly blessed I am.
8) What are you reading now?
Nothing Good! LOL It is the final week of the semester at school going into finals 😦
SC: oh dear, good luck.
9) What are your guilty pleasures?
Coffee and chocolate to keep me going at all hours of the day. Of course being a college student, also too much fast food.
10) What would be your advice, if any, for other aspiring authors?
Just go for it. Trust me, you have absolutely no idea what could happen if you don’t try!
This is for you to talk more about yourself, leave your blogging details, site details and generally promote yourself.
